OK so for the Subway Series it's supposed to be
RJ vs. Gonzalez
Mussina vs. Pedro (haha! this reminds me of the days when Pedro was on the Red Sox and there always seemed to be matchup btwn the two of them)
______ vs. Glavine - I want to say Chacon but I hear Chacon has a bruise on his calf and might not make his next start, so the Yankees might plug in Small ![]()
Small?!? Great then we absolutely have no chance- especially against Glavine.

I know! I happen to like Small but he just came back and isn't fully in the swing of things yet...so I hold out little hope for that...
I'm thinking we might be able to win the middle game though ![]()
Darn, is it me or do the Mets and Yanks have a weird telepathy thing going on the last week or so? If one wins, the other wins, if one loses so does the other one. What is up? Btw the way Impel, Yanks are .590 and Mets are .600 does that bug you hehe?
Let's GO Yanks!!!
No, not really. I want the Yanks to do well, it would make these games even more exciting.
I'm getting really sick of Lima. When he pitches you can always bet on a loss. BRING UP PELFRY... he has to be better than Lima Time. ![]()
Cn you believe the Phils got sweeped by the Brewers? We had each game in hand but we always give it up in the end and lost by 1 run in all 3 games. ![]()
I can believe it. Hopefully, that series cooled you guys off a bit. ![]()

CAN I SPIT ON RANDY JOHNSON?!?!?! HOW THE FUCK DO YOU WALK THE LEAD OFF BATTER AND THEN GIVE UP A FUCKING HOME RUN WHEN YOU ARE UP 4-0?!?!?! HOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWWW

i KNEW bringing in Mo was a bad idea.
i KNEW bringing in Mo was a bad idea.
How was that a bad idea? If I were a Yankee fan, I would want Rivera up in the 9th with the game tied. All the guy does is put up zeros in big situations.
We should have swept. ![]()
Oh, and here come the Phillies. :lullaby:

How? Because I always know when Mo's gonna blow it. For the past 2 years I've been able to tell when Mo's gonna blow a save, or give up the go-ahead run and once again I was right. Couple that with the fact that Mo has been spotty so far this season (I don't believe it will continue but that is what it's been like up to this point) and it has 'we're gonna lose' written all over it.
However, being the hardcore Mo fan that I am, (read: the man can do no wrong and no loss or blown save is ever his fault) I choose to blame this loss on Randy Johnson ![]()
Funny how I was also right about which game the Yankees would win ![]()
*goes back to studying*
edit: Oh yes, and you're right, you should have swept; it's your own damn fault that you didnt ![]()

Wagner wrapped the gift and Julio put the bow on top. ![]()

@ the yankees
Good grief, RJ's on the mound tonight!!
I don't know why Moose isn't pitching; is Joe saving him for Kansas City??! ![]()

he's only had four days rest since his last start, so it wasn't his turn. they haven't had a day off, so everyone was going on their usual rest. if moose pitched tonight, he would have been doing so without the routine rest and every yankee fan knows how you should never throw moose off his routine! he doesn't like that very much.
farnsworth and mo did a great job tonight!! i love farnsworth so much, he's got great stuff.
i hope posada's mri comes back with no results and that he feels better soon. if not, they are going to need to do something catcher wise, really soon.
wow, no comments about the Phils and their 16 inning loss yesterday to the Mets. ![]()
I know it's only May, but my hometown Dodgers have 7 GAMES IN A ROW!!!
Damn right I'm thinking BLUE!!! :hell yea!:

I didn't want to rub it in.
That must have been a deflating loss for the Phillie fans. The Mets never quit and that's why they are where they are. Now we go for the sweep.
