You know what? Forget I said anything. It's clearly going over people's heads. It's not a big deal that Adriana might not be in the Christmas commercial, and it doesn't seem like anything worth digging for deeper information about. That's all my point was.
The response? I got an essay from more than one of you talking about how super/great/important/fantastic she is. I mean seriously... is it that deep? I have no problem being labelled a troll because I don't understand the obsession over where Adriana ranks in the heirarchy of the angels and the need to write essays to prove that she is the "Best Thing Ever" on every single message board.

Then mind your business? Don't comment if you don't like what you see? You don't have to express your feelings and thoughts for every comment you see that upsets you, you know. Hell, if everyone came around to threads of people that they didn't like just to say that they didn't like them this place would be crazy. I was just sharing news with people who are her fans and appreciate it. You just had to be the one to say something because something that I said ticked you off. As for that last comment: I don't know who does that, but I sure don't. There's no need to take out your obvious anger on me.
Actually no that's not my point. The company is free to do whatever they want to do without her...IMO they can not use her for all I care, because I'd rather them use her once in a while, then be shoved down our throats like oh say Selita or Miranda, who at their signings don't even have many people show up nor care enough to see them. Heidi and Adriana are VS's meal ticket and they know it, otherwise they wouldn't insist on having them in the show period. They would have told them hey no problem don't need ya this year, which I'm sure both would have been fine with (I know Heidi's sick of the company)
As for being "That" kind of fan...I just know what I've heard from Monica Mitro's office and Liza Anderson (Adriana's PR) that she's very much wanted and when you say that she's not this or that, then the fans are going to step in and say something saying hey well not so fast. here's what she's doing and yadda yadda yadda.
VS is going to do what they want, but they aren't going to pay certain supermodels and not use them. I don't think any of us said the show CAN'T happen without them or the christmas commercial wouldn't happen without her, we just said without their big names and the financial aspect of it, it wouldn't have been surprising. In the end who gives a damn? Let the other girls shine (well as much as they will) I'm not going to get a juvenile fight over something that has no bearing on my life whatsoever. Oi.

I have this problem called "Honesty Peppered With Sarcasm." It's a personality flaw. 
IMO: after she will have her baby
she's gonna try to get back in shape and if she's not in good shape before the show ..she will host it

Supermodel Adriana Lima, pregnant wife of Serbian basketball player Marko Jaric, recently did a lingerie editorial for Victoria`s Secret and announced a break from show business in order to focus on her baby and marriage.
