Adriana Lima's Maltese pooch, Ivy, who she's had for eight years, disappeared Tuesday and has not been seen since.

Lima is a well-known super model representing several noteworthy brands, including Victoria's Secret. She is also a resident of Miami and is asking her neighbors for help. "Please, if anybody finds her, please, give us a call," Lima said via phone, "because she means so much to me and my family."

Lima left for New York to give birth to her second child. She left the 2-and-a-half-pound Ivy in the care of some friends. Somehow the dog slipped out of a door of that family's home. They said they spent all day looking for her. "Yesterday, today," said a man. "Today we went to the pound to see if maybe they had found her."
