it's an interesting read... and i think it's good that there are so many different races in the fashion industry. and a little competition on the runway never hurt anyone... i guess not too sure on that though...when the claws come out it becomes deadly :laugh:

I think it's way too early to say that...not to mention pretty conceited of Eugenia. Look, as much as I love Valentina Zeliaeva, Natalia Vodianova, Karolina, etc, I love Adriana, Gisele, Ale, Ana BB, etc more. And correct me if I'm wrong, but I think Eastern Europe doesn't have quite as much the variety to match Brazil's.

Of course the fashion industry doesn't choose their models based on my preferences, though.

Thanks for that, Lullaby. While I love Eastern European models, I think the Brazilians bring heat and sex appeal to the fashion industry. For some reason, all the Brazilian models just seem to have a very sensual and seductive look. Maybe it's because it's the dark hair and skin, and those South American curves.

Eastern European women seem very statuesque and stoic to me. While they are tall, pretty, and have killer cheekbones, most of them don`t seem to have the same sex appeal and flavor that the Brazilians ( or even Americans ) have.

Maybe Salans is "site sitting" or have obtained it on Adriana's behalf. Some domains are owned by Adriana (for example www.adrianalima.org). Has anyone got any more info?

Well I guess this counts as news but our sexy Adriana was #39 on FHM's Sexiest Women in the World. I can't see how Paris Hilton and Eva Longoria can beat her. I don't know if this has been posted before but it's worth a shot.

well not a lot of people know Adriana's name...maybe her face but probably like "that Victoria's Secret chick"

on the other hand, who DOESN'T know Paris Hilton's name at this point...

you know? It's all based on how well known the person is first.

You have to remember FHM is a popularity contest, Adriana is just known for being in commercials and being on Victoria's Secret. FHM votes go to people who actuall do things, like Angelina Jolie for instance she has been doing alot with the whole Mr. and Mrs. Smith thing, plus she's been all over people and the tabloids with the whole Brad Pitt thing. I'm sure Adriana doesn't even care where she falls it's just an honor to be on that list. So don't get upset if someone else is put before her. And remember FHM has different lists for different countries so the Brazil FHM she'd probably be number one but in the US we have tons of other people who many men think are just as beautiful as she is you know? just stating.

And people do know her name, because she does alot of publicity for Maybeline. And her name is at the bottom of every makeup poster that she does. example "Adriana Lima wearing glittery pink" ect.

"FHM" could have used a way better picture.
