Here's another interesting tidbit...

The movie is only going to be rated PG!

How can it be only be rated PG?! The 2 previous movies in the series were rated PG-13 and this one should have been more likely to get a higher rating.

I think kukim just confused everything with that explanation. Here is basically how the American film rating system concerning potentially objectionable content (sex, violence, profanity) works...

G = appropriate for little kids and babies (think Disney movies)

PG = for kids

PG-13 = for teenagers

R = for adults/older teenagers

X = adults only (it's pornography)

In other words, if the upcoming movie has been reduced from PG-13 to PG, it means the filmmakers have made a movie aimed more at children than the last two movies, despite how the content of the books has only gotten more serious. It has nothing to do with getting parents to pay for tickets.

HOW the hell is it only rated PG? Are we going to go backwards now?!
