If Paul wins less games than LeBron with a better cast (Chandler, West, Peja, Posey) it will be hard for him to beat LeBron . Wade's team sucks...but he would have a tough time beating LeBron while having roughly the same numbers while winning far less games in the same Conference .

Paul def. does not have the better cast. The Cavs are one of the most well rounded teams in the NBA. Chandler is so good he was "traded" Posey helped the Celtics more than the Hornets, Peja isnt as good as he once was. Only West is actually great. I could see the Cavs winning games without Lebron, but the Hornets without Paul? they would seriously struggle.

I'm not knockin' Paul per se. Thing is though, even if we say equal cast for argument's sake...Cavs have won 50 games already and may win 60 and LeBron has equal or better all around production. Plus he's more popular on top of that, so it would be difficult for Paul to get more votes. Its a combination of wins, numbers and popularity.

Casts

I'll warrant that the contributions of LeBron's cast are becoming somewhat underrated, but I feel the same way about Paul's cast...But it is refreshing to hear someone refer to LeBron's cast (of this year) as more than a bunch of rogue's who would win 3 games without him .

The Chandler trade attempt was about money, not lack of value (he was a Redeem team alternate and he's the 4th or 5th best on the team).

Chandler > Wallace (at his current age) + Anderson Varejao

David West > Big Z

Posey could challenge for the 3rd most talented on the Cavs...The Celtics didn't need as much "help" simply because they were a far better team so the same contributions wouldn't have the same impact.

David West + LeBron > Big Z + CP3

Peja still = any shooter the Cavs have

Mo > Hornets 2nd best guard to be sure

But...regardless of the perspective and regardless of who would supposedly go down the crapper without who (someone could say an average team may win 12 games without their best player even he's a non all-star ), it'll come down to the best numbers of the most popular person on a team with a good record anyway, but at the end of the day, both are still great players that make a lot of money .

Yes lakers won there division yesterday , so if they lose all games they still have a playoff spot but i hope it wont come down to that. Bron is going for 4 straight triple doubles which is crazy, but im not to fond of the way he is getting them.

I wasnt dissin i was just really pumped up about the win. Not only did we get it against the best team but we've lost i think 6 games in the last 5 secs.

btw big OT win @ the Blazers tonight for us the reffing was horrible for both sides though. one of the worst ive seen.

Everybody knows the Lakers is coming out THE WEST!!! When the playoffs start, anyone going up against the Lakers is gonna go DOWN HARD!!! As for the East, kind of a toss-up. Right now Cleveland is the hottest team in the NBA, riding a 10 winning streak, and will most likely have home field advantage throughout the playoffs. And when they are at home, they are ALMOST UNBEATABLE!!! However, you can't count out last year's NBA champions, the Celtics. Still have Garnett, Pierce, and Allen. Orlando might be in the mix as well. They are tied for 2nd place in the East.

Yeah...Cavs are lookin' good . Lakers would probably need Bynum and Celts would need Garnett healthy to take them out . But who knows ?
