Anyone notice how the old teams are the best this year?

and how about Russel Westbrook and Derek Rose. They learned to shoot and are pretty much unstoppable now.

Oden over Durant will be remembered as a worse mistake than Bowie over Jordan.

Bowie played 540 NBA games, scored 5500+ points, grabbed 3800+ rebounds and dished out 1000+ assists.

Greg Oden's current totals: 88 games, 800+ points, 600+ rebounds, 50 assists. I'll be very surprised if he ever makes it to Bowie's totals.

Blake Griffin is a beast. Averaging 22 and 12. The only rookie who put up better numbers their rookie season was Shaq. If this kid doesn't kill himself (not literally) the sky is the limit for him. He goes all out on his dunks. It's scary sometimes when he gets fouled. He goes down hard. Hopefully he'll attract some talent and the Clips can finally do something.

on another rookie note, Evan Turner is having his struggles with us He shows flashes though and I think he's gonna be a star one day, I really do. I don't see us making it through this season without trading Iguodala. I wonder who we can get for him. oh and Jrue Holiday, future all star PG, no doubt. Future is bright in philly.

Blake Griffin is with a cursed franchise. Combine that with his fearless, reckless way of playing and the odds of him not injuring himself are not good...

Clippers have won 8 straight home games, the longest streak in almost 20 years and they're playing winning basketball. Maybe Blake can turn them around.

and with that the Sixers blew a 21 point lead last night to the Grizzlies in the 4th to lose by 5

Playoffs start this weekend! Come on people this might be our last one for 2 years. (Potential lockout)

Anyone think the Bulls can actually win it all? Rose is amazing. Hard for him to not be your favorite player.

I like them. But Play-offs are different animal. Lets see them win their first round series before we make them favorites.

Sounds like the Lakers are pushing for Mike Brown as new coach.

You're allowed to be happy, but the fake new Heat fans as of after Lebron got there can go suck a fat one.

Btw the Heat just choked away a championship tonight

Miami is a bandwagon city... We're shitty fans. We only like our teams if they are doing remotely well. Not to say that there aren't TRUE fans, but for the most part we genuinely don't care much.

Personally, I hate basketball, but I guess it's nice to root for a team once in a while, idk.

As for sucking 'a fat one'... There is so much I could say...

Well, fat ones need love too of course. But yeah, Miami aren't known as the best fans by some standards. I would say because they have so much other things going on, but then New York and Los Angeles are great fans of course. Either way, the place is still packed and a lot of the athletes still love the exciting city life so it seems to all balance out. Actually, if you're not hounded as much at the resturants ect. it may more than balance out . As to the game, its interresting to see the nearly 40 year old Kidd defending both Wade and LeBron relatively well in spurts. Dirk is shooting an amazing 51% from 3 in these playoffs, yet is only shooting like 2 per game strangely enough. Wade's flopping caught up with him, LeBron is lacking the killer instinct he once had and looks confused and his newfound jumper left as quickly as it came (started the series at an uncharacteristic 40% from beyond the arc and has been raining bricks the last two games) and he seems content to keep on shooting until it comes back which is limiting his drives even despite the fact that him even running toward the rim usually results in a foul call (Wade on the other hand with nearly 10 trips to the stripe in the first half alone). It should be interresting to see if LeBron will take advantage of the hometown officiating by driving or wait for his jumper to come back and if the Mavs can continue their momentum. Should be interresting either way .
