Had no end of problems with the Fantasy League this year missed getting my team in on time because the system crashed and then somehow being put in the pending list for the next two weeks, i am finally part of the league and up to 3rd. Not bad especially seeing i missed the first week.

Congrats to yourself and Berno for the huge 80+ point hauls. As sure as Fergie hates Kelly Cates (nee Dalglish), you'll be above me next week. :persuazn:

Wah wah poor Arsenal goo goo ga ga completely outplayed poor Arsenal wah wah life without 'Cesc' wah wah Nasri wah wah

Drawing is the new winning for Arsenal these days, it would seem.

Always been a fan Kelly, even more so now she managed to upset old red nose.

Somewhat inevitably, Gasperini is gone from Inter. Cue rousing round of indifference.

Mildly amusing: sections of the media currently suggesting that Michael Owen should play again for England. If major international tournaments were contested by mediocre Championship sides for him to score against, I'd be inclined to agree.

And there aren't England-call-up-rumours surrounding just Michael Owen, either. Another 'Owen' has been tipped for a return to the England squad.

I'm sure you all know which Owen I'm talking about.

^First Scott 'Scotty' Parker and now Hargreaves - could Fabio be any more desperate to get Gareth Barry out of England's first eleven?

Good thing I didn't buy Fernando Torres in Fantasy this week... oh.

Remember, you can't trust Chelsea strikers... that's why I don't have any in my FF team

Plus, I think Torres should move to a smaller club– preferably back to Atlético Madrid

Delap seems to have taken to wearing some sort of apron-looking thing under his shirt for away games these days, so he can wipe the ball on it before taking throw-ins - I noticed it last Sunday when we played Stoke. Thinking of grassing him up to the FA but I'm not sure who I should write to.

In other news, we're crap. Half a dozen players out of position, no desire, urgency or tactics, Sessegnon grossly overrated and so on.

In other other news, Bayern are currently wiping the floor with Man City.

Bayern didn't even have Badstuber, yet not once did City test the problematic van Buyten. Kolo Tour

"I would like to apologise to all Manchester City fans, with whom I have always had a strong relationship, for any misunderstanding that occurred in Munich," he went on.

"They understand that when I am on the pitch I have always given my best for the club. In Munich on Tuesday I had warmed up and was ready to play.

Of all the mercenary scum destroying the game Tevez is right up there with the worst. Also, 'with whom'? Yeah I bet Carlos Tevez says 'with whom' all the time.

There seems to be a debate about whether Tevez is finished at Man City but personally, I'd go so far as to suggest that he's finished at the highest level of football altogether. No top, top, top (© Harry Redknapp) club would pay his astronomical wage after a year littered with unprofessional acts of the worst kind. He'll probably surface in some footballing backwater and start winding down.

Carlos Tevez keeps surprising me! Just when I thought that he couldn't do anything more unprofessional or childish.. He pulls off another stunt...

Anzhi Makhachkala seems about right to me.

Meanwhile I've found myself deeply moved by the story of Asamoah Gyan and little Billy Bluecap (here's the link in case you inexplicably don't have the Sunderland Echo bookmarked), so much so that I'm seriously thinking of making it into a motion picture extravaganza! Naturally most of the budget would need to be spent on special effects as its very hard to re-create the unique facial stylings of Steve 'making it up as I go along' Bruce, but at the core would be a truly heart tugging inspirational tale!

I can see it now - one boy's struggle to obtain a refund for his replica shirt! May I suggest Angela Lansbury for the part of Brucey...

...And how about Danny John-Jules as Gyan, Conor Wickham as little Billy and for wacky comic relief from the supporting cast, Craig Charles (with early Red Dwarf-era waistline) as Kieran Richardson.

The news of David De Gea being caught stealing a doughnut worth £1.19 has really shocked me. £1.19 for a doughnut?

First they criticise De Gea for having butter fingers and now they claim he has sticky hands!
