Tough draw for all the English clubs.

Just your run-of-the-mill reverse-scorpion kick own goal from the Hong Kong first division (no, me neither).
I also Love football and my favorite player is Messi and my favorite team is Arsenal.

Howard Webb, best referee in the Premier League? ![]()

I think you're looking for Stuart Atwell ![]()
So I just took a look at the Fantasy tables... :|

You know it's been a crazy weekend when all the big clubs except for Arsenal stumble... :|+
Great result at Chelsea followed by a horrific (nay, vomit inducing) home defeat, just like last season.

So this is what it feels like to be half-decent at home. Almost, almost makes the months of awful goalless draws and embarrassing defeats to fellow strugglers worthwhile. In hindsight I'm glad Bendtner fluffed his big opportunity in the early going – would have been way too soon to score against a team of City's quality. Credit must go to the overall team display, though I thought Cattermole was absolutely superb. Turns out there is a good player in there somewhere. In general, bloody marvellous - but let's not undo all the good work in the game with Wigan tonight. I'd happy with a point given the circumstances.
Here's one for my fellow connoisseurs of extravagant football commentary - Ji Dong-Won's winning goal, as reported in South Korea... ![]()

Bring back Steve Bruce!
...Only joking.

I know years take a lot from you, I know he's not what he once was, but boy am I happy like a child!!!!!!!!
Ladies and gentelman. . .
He's back

Lucky Liverpool aren't playing Carragher anymore ![]()
A water bottle might be more useful...

I like Man City's reserve goalie. His name sounds like a creature from Arthurian legend. ![]()

He also looks like Terry Gilliam built him in his basement.

Wow, what a magic moment!!!

The new French lad who scored Arsenal's winning goal against Leeds looks like a decent player - another astute signing by Wenger. Perhaps send him out on loan to a lower league side and see how he gets on. ![]()

so the epl is the league were mls players go to retire?

lol
It's more the other way around. ![]()

Since I don't have much else to complain about after the win against Swansea and since it's pretty quiet around these parts at the moment, may I present my 'If I hear this one more time from a member of the media I'll scream' top five...
5. Howard Webb, the Premier League's top official - I seriously doubt he's even the best referee in Rotheram.
4. Alan Shearer's liberal use of grammar - "I think he done well", "this is the pass what we were talking about" etc etc.
3. "Steve Bruce was unlucky to lose his job and deserved more time" by anyone who just so happens to be mates with Steve Bruce - messrs O'Neill and Bruce are almost universally popular with the media, with only one key difference - ask anyone what they think of Brucey, they'll tell you he's a great lad, a top bloke, etc. Ask them what they think of Martin and they'll tell you he's good at his job. Yet for some reason the 'experts' can't seem to differentiate while giving it the old "the fans got him the sack" waffle.
2. Condemnation of Roberto Mancini's waving of imaginary cards - okay, so this isn't exactly in the spirit of fair play, but are we really meant to believe that there's a manager in the land who sits back and takes it when he feels his team are being unfairly treated? Mancini does it with physical gestures as opposed to screaming barely coherent tirades of abuse within spitting distance of officials. Given the choice, I know which one I'd prefer to be on the receiving end of.
1. "If only Arsenal had someone like Tony Adams at the back" by anyone with a passing connection to Arsenal - note to younger readers: a long time ago, before the vast majority of their current playing squad were born, Arsenal had a pretty good defence.

Welcome Frankie from The Saturdays Wayne Bridge!
May also need to learn how to spell 'Sotirios Kyrgiakos' instead of just copying and pasting it, as I did there. ![]()
