Nothing but bad news on the other side

So, we’re now looking at this strike prolonging well into next year. This also means no actors campaigning, shilling, for votes during awards season. Maybe their work will actually do the talking this time around. The 2024 release calendar is also now very much in doubt. Hey, at least we’ll be focusing more on foreign and indie films next year.

That really sucks🫠🤧
What about award shows? What if they got nominated? Can they attend???

Nope. They won’t even be able to hold award shows, at least not the USA ones.

If the majority of the actors are unable to attend why are there awards shows? Did they mention when these shows gonna happen?

If the strike is still happening, there will not be any award shows. They will be canceled.

Sounds promising... if someone is a sucker for numbers. But looking at the state of hollywood (and cinema) a success of KOTFM is very much needed. So let's rock it
Martin Scorsese's Western drama, Killers of the Flower Moon, looks on course to shatter a new opening weekend record held by The Departed.
Killers of the Flower Moon is on course to shoot down a new record for Martin Scorsese during its opening weekend as the film will be showing in an unprecedented number of theaters for the director.
Per The Numbers, Killers of the Flower Moon will open on 3,500 screens across domestic cinemas, a new all-time high for a Scorsese movie. The previous record for screenings of a Scorsese flick during its premiere weekend was during the debut of The Departed in 2006, which was shown on 3,017 screens at the time.
With Killers of the Flower Moon securing so many screens across North American theaters during its debut weekend, the news could bode well for the Western's box-office prospects. Early projections had Killers of the Flower Moon making around $24 million domestically during its opening weekend as Apple Studios and Paramount Pictures hope for significant returns on the $200 million spent to make the upcoming blockbuster. Scorsese's last feature-length title, 2019's The Irishman, only earned $8 million at the box office despite its widespread critical acclaim as it received a limited theatrical release before streaming on Netflix.
Killers of the Flower Moon came close to breaking another record as it fell just shy of setting a new mark for the longest movie Scorsese has ever made. Clocking in at 3 hours and 26 minutes, the movie is three minutes short of The Irishman (3 hours and 29 minutes) for the runtime record. Scorsese recently hit back at criticism about Killers of the Flower Moon's length, insisting detractors must give the actors and cinema as a whole the respect they deserve.
The soundtrack will be released on october 20th :

Just because I love the headline.
Aww look at this video at 5:55 They are adorable together. 😍Such a shame we won't get any more interviews 😭
Yaaas! Seeing it on Friday.
Could I politely ask anyone seeing the film (I include myself in this) that we keep the site spoiler free. I somehow have managed to stay ignorant about the ending so far and would love it to stay that way untill I see the film 😂🤣
