American Hustle. By far the most overrated movie of this award season. We shut it off halfway through because the movie wasn't going ANYWHERE. It was jumbled all up, and was trying to be SOO Martin Scorsese with the scene and music cuts, etc. but it was just failing. Jennifer Lawrence in that movie has got to be the worst miscasting ever too. I love her, but the role and her acting was not good. She looks 18 years old and was playing a mother of like a 7 year old, totally miscast.

5/10.

Hey! Same here, I stopped the movie because it was si bring, can believe this s crap was even nominated, and Lawrence again, seriously, she did nothing to be outstanding and to be nominated, same si the rest of the cast. Very dissaponting.

We got an hour into it, and shut it off, It wasn't going anywhere! I don't understand how anybody couldhave been entertained by that movie...sucky thing is that it kept you watching because it always seemed like something was gonna happen but never did

The whole cast is full of actors I love and respect (amy, jen, cooper, and bale) but every single one of those acting and movie noms was just undeserving!

Oculus-Great movie, total mind f%*k. I prefer these types of movies as opposed to the slasher blood and guts everywhere. Though I like those on occasion too.  Great horror thriller! 8.5/10!

The Hunger Games 1 and 2 : I really enjoyed the first one. The second however felt a little too much like the first, with a twist at the end. Even though I was a little disappointed, I'll probably watch the next, I like the story. 8/10 for the first, 6.5/10 for the second.

Rio 2: Went to see it with my brother just then. Highly enjoyable and amusing film. It's a little slow at first but the pace picks up. There's plenty of nice musical moments and during a scene where animals come to audition you won't stop laughing 7/10

Grand Budapest Hotel - Loved it! Liked it more than Moonrise Kingdom. Surprisingly violent, but still in an inoffensive cartoony sort of way. Omg @ Tilda Swinton. Really beautiful looking movie!

Such a delight. Whenever Wes Anderson releases something new, it makes me reevaluate my top three Wes Anderson movies.

The Lives of Others: I wouldn't say it's a perfect movie, but it was still a really engrossing story about life under the Stasi. It's hard not to feel a great deal for the two main characters, even if some parts are kinda overdone. I'd recommend it, especially if you enjoy feeling really stressed out and depressed!

Locke. Cracking little movie. Essentially just Tom Hardy in a car for an hour and a half, but amazingly captivating and intense. He only slipped into his Bane voice three times, I counted.

The Two Faces of January. An enjoyable and very classy (if a little slight) suspense thriller. Old-fashioned film noir with something of a Hitchcock vibe going on, even down to the music.
