If you watch this movie prepare yourself to be like wtf?!? by the end of it and leaving the theatre hating what you just watched but upon deeper understanding of the movie and the symbolism behind it it turns out to be an amazing movie. Jennifer was so good in it too. But it's a slow build and then there's just this crazy intense sequence that feels like it never ends.
I read synopsis of Mother and yeah...no thanks.
Aronofsky seems to be fucked up in the head and the "message" of the movie isn't that deep.

I don't feel like watching rape and baby being killed and eaten just so that Aronofsky can do his Biblical movie thingy.
