besides the fact that it's visually interesting i like the roundness of the treetop.

wow Laffy, luv it. i wish i could use color as well as that. just curious, have you ever tried those water-soluble colored pencils?

& yes I have. I'm not particularly a watercolor type of person (just because I haven't mastered how to apply watercolor effects) but I really am quite a fan of watersoluble pencils. I just love the texture that you can achieve with them. & they're much easier to use than watercolor paints, imo, even though they're still hard for me to handle at times

just curious really. i've tried experimenting with them but haven't really figured out how best to use them. do you lay down some color & then apply a wet brush to spread the color over the desired area? ![]()
