Tori Praver, 21, was discovered at 11 while shopping at Costco with her mother. Tori is an avid surfer, born in San Diego, Calif., and raised in Maui, Hawaii. She followed the footsteps of Naomi Campbell, Claudia Schiffer, Anna Nicole Smith, Drew Barrymore and Paris Hilton as the face of Guess and has appeared on the cover of Cosmopolitan, Glamour and Cover magazines. This is Tori's third Swimsuit appearance.

May I ask what is wrong with Cintia's face? 
I dunno, I think a lot of that is confirmation bias. I might get impressions of personality from pictures and videos, but I just feel like I can't know anything about someone's personality without meeting them.
It's not confirmation bias. I'm not saying we KNOW any of these models, but I'm saying we got " impressions of personality from pictures", as you finely put it, and that's all you need for a picture to be fantastic. The newer SI girls have no visible personality to them in their pictures, that's my opinion

I see Cintia's goofy personality in some of her pics, she had a lot of fun with this 
Bar Refaeli, 23, began modeling as an eight-month-old in her native Israel. Bar would pester her mother to sign her up for photo shoots and commercials and only took a 3-year break while wearing braces. At age 15, Bar signed with an agency and began modeling for catalogues and later became the face of Hurley and the Diddy cologne, I Am King. This is Bar's third Swimsuit Issue.

Hilary Rhoda, 21, was born in Chevy Chase, MD., and discovered at an event in Washington, D.C. She has appeared in ads for Balenciaga, Valentino, Dolce & Gabana, Givenchy, Donna Karan, Gucci and Ralph Lauren among others. She is one of Estée Lauder's newest faces and has also graced the covers of Vogue, British Harper's Bazaar and W. This is Hilary's first Swimsuit Issue appearance.

Modeling is the family business for Daniella Sarahyba, 24, a native of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Her mother, Tara Lucia Sarahyba was Brazilian model and the pair appeared on the cover of a Brazilian parenting magazine when Daniella was just three days old. Her career began in earnest with modeling competitions at age 12 and she has done work for H&M, Spiegel and Benetton. This is Daniella's fifth Swimsuit Issue.

Irina Shayk, 23, is a native of Emangelynsk City, Russia. She was discovered in 2004 while on a three-day train ride from Chelyabinsk to Moscow. Since the, Irina has been featured in Intimissimi, Lacoste and Guess campaigns. This is Irina's third appearance in the Swimsuit Issue.
Location: Naples, Italy
Anne V, 22, was born in Nizhny Novgorod, Russia. The V is short for Vyalitsyna. Scouts discovered Anne in St. Petersburg while looking for faces for MTV's Fashionably Loud Europe. Anne entered, and won, becoming the face of Yohji Yamamoto. She has appeared in an Alanis Morissette music video and became the face of Chance Chanel at age 15. This is Anne's fifth Swimsuit Issue appearance.
Location: Cappadocia, Turkey
Jessica White, 21, traveled from her hometown of Buffalo, N.Y., to NYC at 14 where she was discovered in an IMTA competition. Jessica moved to Paris and did shows for Ralph Lauren, Oscar de la Renta and others. She has appeared in Harper's Bazaar, Teen Vogue and Vogue Italia and in campaigns for Cover Girl, Maybelline, Chloe and Gap. She's the first African-American model to appear in six Swimsuit Issues.

It's not her freckles, but it just doesn't appeal to me. If I had to pick out something, I don't like the shape of her eyes or how they fit in with the rest of her face. Since we're nitpicking, anyway.

lucia is one of my favs in the issue, but i think she needs to grow into modeling a bit more...she will just get better and better and eventually get a cover i bet.

I have to agree that this year's mag is not a really big standout. As far as Bar's cover, I knew she would get it and I'm happy for her. I sincerely am. (Y) I just don't understand what is so special about that particular shot. She has several shots that would've been better, IMHO. She's a really pretty girl. To me, the spider web suit would have been different and catchy.I am really over models doing the "hooking their thumbs" in their clothes thing. There's not a thing that is remotely natural about that. Who walks around like that? The other thing is that "real" boobs on a girl who is fairly young, do NOT come way out on the sides and they sure don't stay the same size as a girl loses weight. It's virtually against nature. The boobs have to get smaller, too. They only come out on the sides instead of straight ahead when you get older or have implants. Now, if a girl wants implants, that's fine with me, doesn't impact me at all. But, for Pete's sake, don't pretend like they are "real". Okay, now that is all that I have negative to say. If you have implants, just say so and stop the silly pretense. They are not real, period. So what? Who cares? Just admit it. Also, certain tops are better on girls than the triangle.
I looked at everyone's videos and I think the videos are all much better than the stills in most cases. They give more into the insight of each girl's personalities except for those girls that are rookies and really don't know what to do. I loved most of the videos. Maybe I'm being prejudiced (and I'm trying not to be) but I thought Tori's videos were amazing in both showing her body, amazing legs and her beautiful face and especially her eyes and hair. I think in the videos that she was incredible. I know of at least one person who will go bananas with me saying that but that's okay.
In the end, I think the issue is better than the last two years but still isn't like "the good ol' days". I just WISH for the "good ol' days". I honestly would have loved it if Gisele had done the cover. She would never have done a ho-hum shot.
I'd just like opinions on something. Is it the photographers or the stylists who are making it mundane? Some of the girls aren't right for the mag or not ready for it....too young. But, most of them are beautiful girls. What's wrong?
i would of loved to see an adri and gisele double cover.

Memento, I feel bad that you felt pressured into answering what's probably my question. 
The eyes are part of it (they look listless). I'm also not a fan of sharp cheeks, and the lips are unnaturally shaped and plump. The freckles don't thrill me but I don't think that's the big issue. But like I said, it's a big magazine, so I'm not going to dwell on who I don't like.
And are they having models share pieces now? You'd think, given how much fashion designers make, that they'd be able to find more ways to cover a girl's naughty parts. 
It was color themed year at SI. Yanno what's a great idea guys, send a bunch of models to locations and put them in the same damn color suits!

Just don't like Cintia for SI. She wasn't the best, but she wasn't the worst.
