It would make sense that women would find an appeal to other women. Woman is a largely used imagine for sexual appeal, so I can see how completely hetro women would like other gorgeous women.

I just don't understand why men really think some of that porn stuff is real.

Women can (that is, they are both able to and allowed to) appreciate beauty and good looks in persons of the same sex more openly than men. A man who compliments another man's body is often bound to be considered gay.

Plus, I think the very nature of feminine friendship somewhat resembles a homosexual relationship - it allows much body contact, such as hugging, kissing, holding hands etc. In the case of men, it is considered too intimate and inappropriate or unmanly.

And as well, the female body is just so much more appealing to look at, and touch and such. I have many female friends and them hugging or fake kissing each other is acceptable, and not seen as "gay" or out of the ordinary. As well, i've seen so many women criticize and comment on other women and how they look (even here in the competitions many women vote.) Men rarely comment on another man's appearance if ever. I think that's a good point about all the female beauty images affecting everyone's psyche. (Look at Bellazon But I think there's more going on too. There's a lot of research now (by female scientists btw) that shows that women are turned on by male-female, female-female, male-male, even just women exercising! They can actually measure this by blood flow in the vaginal area. Whereas men are only turned on by the women, not by the men (and gay men only by the men). So it seems that straight women are "turned on" by beautiful women, though it's probably more diffusely "erotic" than fully sexual. I will say this, based on my observations: When it comes to female beauty, women are the expert connoisseurs, and men merely the amateurs

The other thing that's been shown is that female sexuality is more about a specific person, unlike male which is about a specific gender, so they can sometimes go back and forth. And why otherwise exclusively straight women might have one single female like Angelina Jolie or whoever that they could imagine "being with". I'm a guy very comfortable with my sexuality. I guess im different based on how i was raised. I have basically been surrounded by women my whole life. I have my dad and two older brothers but i was mainly raised by my mother and two sisters. So growing up i was always with them and their friends. And now in my life my two best friends are women. I am not gay but at the same time i dont like to categorise myself. We love who we love. Or we are attracted to whover we are attracted to do. I think being raised with women kind of made me that way. I love women. But with my two girl friends we are comfortable enough to look at guys and girls and say who we think is hot, sexy, handsome etc. And its not in a gay way either. We appreciate both forms. I do prefer women. Obviously. They are just sexy and incredble. The form is amazing lol.
