Well yes I based my vote on what I saw in the film (don't know much about historical Sparta) and what I saw was a stay at home mother and wife. Nothing more. As for the greatness of these Spartan men, imo it's... debatable

spartan women were actually trained almost as well as the men...quite often if a man wanted to wed a woman and she wasnt too hot on the idea.... hed attack her and theyd fight for it... and the men didnt always win!!
