Get the Thumbnail URL. It will look like this:

http://www.legion-me...ster1034077.thw

You want to change .THW to .BRO (if this is lowercase, keep it lowercase).

It will look like this: http://www.legion-me...ster1034077.bro

Then you change the word thumbnailsl5 to zoomsl5 . It will look like this: http://www.legion-me...ster1034077.bro

After that take the big number after Zoomsl5/ and divide it in half. like so

Zoomsl5/00000001629/ take the number 1629 divide it in half = 814.5

If you get a number with a decimal, round it up to the nearest whole number (1629 when divided is 814.5 so you want that number to be 814 in Sample above).

Another reminder is that if you divide and go from say 3 numbers to 2, make sure you add a 0 in front of the number.

for example If you had taken 125 and changed that to 63 you won't get the file. You need to make sure it's 063

you should end up with a preview url like so.

Fashionmag seems to have changed their HQ method,the old method doesn't work anymore when we used to register then remove 112x168 or any small pixels and get HQ

edit: Figured it out.  If you click on the image, a smaller version pops up.  Right-click, Save Picture and you have the HQ.

Not true anymore, unfortunately. Even for those with an account, the Getty preview pic still retains the watermark. This change took place in May.
