Does anyone know if one may get pictures larger than 1959 x 2560 from amazon.com? (below I describe how to get the 1959 x 2560 pics)
On this page:
http://www.amazon.co...P0/ref=sr_1_949
There are two pictures:
http://ecx.images-am...KL._SL1500_.jpg
http://ecx.images-am...AL._SL1500_.jpg
which are 1154 x 1500. You can get larger pictures by playing with the "_SL1500_.jpg" end part of the picture's paths, apparently the value placed after "SL" is the height of the picture. The largest picture I've gotten is 1959 x 2560 - putting anything over 2560 after the "SL" part doesn't get one a bigger pic.
However, these pictures seem to have an original which I'm not able to locate.
Does anyone know if there's a better way to get bigger or higher quality pictures?
thanks!

I usually use bing, yahoo and google as search engimes
I always get different results with the same word combination for each one. hopefully it helps you.

I think, there is no larger pic. Simply delete _SL1500_. That's probably original size.

Anyone can get this in a bigger size?:

Thread cleaned. Sorry guys but we can no longer allow requests for copyrighted materials from gettyimages, wireimage, corbis, filmmagic, rexfeatures, and suchlike. Please check out post #1 for further details.

Thread cleaned? the idea was to close the topic and clean all the tricks here and activate it again to members.

Are full-size images from zimbio with a height of 1024px? You can get these by simply clicking on "zoom" on the pages, like:
http://www.zimbio.co...ort/4adrgedp151
And you'd get:
http://www2.pictures...adrgedp151x.jpg
But I just wanted to confirm if you guys think this is indeed the biggest you can get from the site.
Thanks a lot in advance ![]()

I dont think deleting the thread would be the best way, as we can still ask for tricks on other things...

I did some further research and I think zimbio is ok...for now at least ![]()

not delete the threa, delete the posts. the mods can do that.

Thread will not get deleted. Thanks.
