ANGELINA Jolie’s split from partner Brad Pitt doesn’t just affect us mere mortals.
They’ve got (six) kids, too.
Even though insiders have denied claims Brangelina are set to go their separate ways, the couple WILL be confirming the split in the next few weeks.
Ian Halperin, author of the recent bestseller Brangelina: The Untold Story of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, says Jolie and Pitt will “follow the script of his buddy Guy Ritchie during his own impending divorce to Madonna when the couple repeatedly denied the story until they made the official announcement.”
The couple, Halperin says, “will appear in public, probably in the next week, sending the public the message that the rumors are false. The couple isn’t married so Angelina can’t get herself photographed in public without her ring as is customary in these Hollywood breakup scenarios.
“But as I predicted in my book, you will soon start to see an escalation in stories, some even in the mainstream press, citing unnamed sources, that Brad’s drinking and pot-smoking has gotten out of control. Angelina is worried for the kids. Then, when the time is right, the story will be leaked to a credible outlet like the L.A. Times that Angelina has hired a divorce attorney. Within a week to ten days after that, the couple will issue a joint announcement that they have come to an amiable split. The only question is when this will happen. Nothing’s been decided yet on that score.”
A source adds, “Brad’s worried about how they’ll break the news to the kids.
“And I’m sure Angie is as well. She’s That’s why this didn’t happen sooner and why they’re not quite ready to make it official. They’ve maintaining the farce for the sake of the kids. Which, let’s face it, at the end of the day, makes them just like any other unhappily married couple with children.
“They used to love each other, they don’t any more. It’s as simple as that. They’ve both been seeing other people, nothing serious, but it’s not cheating because they’ve been over for a long time.”

ahahaha no one ever said they didn't love each other. and there are lots of people who don't love each other but have kids together. And just b/c they had children and did love each other, that doesn't mean they have to feel the same way about each other forever. Look at what Mel Gibson did to his ex-wife, mother of his seven kids. I have no doubt it was the sexual attraction that brought Brad and Angie together in the first place not to mention Brad wanting children and Angelina being quite the maternal type.

Pitt's mum trying to save his relationship
Brad Pitt's mother is desperately trying to help save her son's relationship with Angelina Jolie.
Family counsellor Jane Pitt - who is famously close to Brad's ex-wife Jennifer Aniston - is keen for the couple to repair their five-year union for the sake of their six children.
A source told the Daily Mail website: "Brad is trying to cling on to the wreckage of the relationship as he is still very much in love with Angelina and believes they can make it work.
"Jane wants what is best for her son and grandchildren and Angie has agreed to meet her. She has stuck at her own marriage and worked with families for 30 years trying to keep them together."
Jane believes her skills as a mediator will come in useful when speaking to Angelina, who she has become close to in recent months thanks to their joint work in setting up a cancer centre.
It was recently reported that Pitt and Jolie - who have three adopted children, Maddox, eight, Pax, six, and Zahara, five, as well as three biological kids, Shiloh, three, and 18-month-old twins Knox and Vivienne - were heading for a split after signing a legal document which equally split their $330 million fortune and custody of their kids.
However, sources close to the couple denied this and insisted "everything was fine" between them.
Friends also say the couple are planning to attend the Oscars together in March and have already started planning their outfits.
One pal said: "Angelina and Brad are still very much together. They're even in the process of planning out their Oscar outfits.
Brad wanted to make sure he didn't clash with Angelina, who's putting some serious thought into her choices. They are still a couple."
Pitt and Jolie - who has been married twice before - got together after meeting on the set of Mr and Mrs Smith in 2004, while Brad was still married to Jennifer.
