Angelina Jolie Visits Haiti Earthquake Survivors
After meeting with earthquake victims in a hospital in the Dominican Republic, Angelina Jolie is headed to Haiti on Monday.
The actress and UN goodwill ambassador visited with survivors at the Dario Contrera Hospital in Santo Domingo, says spokesman Dario Manon. Dozens of the victims of the Jan. 12 earthquake in Haiti are receiving medical help at the hospital.
"She spoke with several children and a Haitian woman who recognized her and requested help," Manon said, according to the Associated Press.
The actress was accompanied by Gonzalo Vargas Llosa, a representative of the U.N. High Commissioner for Refugees and the son of Peruvian writer Mario Vargas Llosa.
In the aftermath of the earthquake, Jolie and partner Brad Pitt donated $1 million to Doctors Without Borders to provide medical assistance to those in need of emergency care.

Always busy filming, Angelina Jolie has arrived in Venice to begin filming The Tourist, with the whole crew.
The Salt actress originally was going to head to Italy by herself, but Brad insisted to join her and they moved in a 16th century palace, Palazzo Mocenigo, with their six children and bulldog Jack.
Angelina is filming with Johnny Depp and has been enjoying her time with him. They’ve met a few times in Los Angeles to talk about their parts in the movie over bottles of wine. The actress will play a female Interpol agent who is in hopes to find her ex-lover criminal, which draws an American tourist, played by Johnny Depp.
Angelina will stay in Italy and their new palace for three months, while the movie is produced in Venice and Prague.

After spending several months in Los Angeles – with a few weeks in New York – the international family of eight headed to Venice, Italy, on Monday, where Jolie is soon expected to begin shooting her upcoming thriller, The Tourist, with Johnny Depp.
Last week, Jolie went on a three-day trip to earthquake-ravaged Haiti and the neighboring Dominican Republic before joining Pitt and the kids for a long Valentine's Day weekend in Los Angeles. Friday turned out to be family night, with the entire Jolie-Pitt brood enjoying a sizzling dinner at a Benihana Japanese Steakhouse.
The next evening Pitt, 46, and Jolie, 34, stepped out for a private event at The Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills. The family laid low on Valentine's Day Sunday – then jetted off to Venice on Monday.
It didn't take long for them to be spotted grabbing some ice cream while they took in their new, temporary home. Even the rarely-seen twins, Vivienne and Knox, were spotted in mom and dad's arms boarding a water taxi.
Should they return to their European base at Chateau Miraval during their stay, the family will be able to enjoy a new addition to the property: a 300-to-400-year-old olive tree purchased at English Garden Center in Opio, France, which is scheduled to be planted at Miraval this spring.

Brad & Angelina Take The Twins On A Water Taxi In Italy
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie enjoyed a family outing in Venice on Tuesday with their adorable and rarely photographed 19-month-old twins Vivienne and Knox.
The new photos show Brangelina taking the twins on a water taxi.
It was a big day for the large family, as mom and dad took Maddox, Pax, Zahara and Shiloh out for ice cream earlier.
Angelina is preparing to shoot the film The Tourist in Italy in March.
As usual, Brangelina has been on the movie. Angelina and Brad were at the Super Bowl in Miami before she left for the Dominican Republic and Haiti. Now, it’s on to Italy, where the couple has been far more visible with their children than in the past.

Brad Pitt & Angelina Jolie's Gelato Gang
Ciao! Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie spent a fun day sightseeing with four of their children - Maddox, 8 1/2, Pax, 6, Zahara, 5, and Shiloh, 3.7 - in Venice, Italy on Tuesday.
The A-list couple treated their kids to gelato and a gondola ride through the beautiful city. The Jolie-Pitt family strolled around with smiles all bundled up warm for their outing. Shiloh stole the show in her cute monkey hat!
But where were the twins? Knox Léon and Vivienne Marcheline, 19 months, were not spotted with the happy family.
