Is it hard to do your taxes over there? Over here, as long as you don't bring a lot of expenses into the equation, it's fairly easy. I think I did mine in 25 minutes last year. Off course, once you have to start proving lots of expenses, all bets are off. It's worth the effort though. A friend of mine got a 3000 € tax refund last year by doing that.

yeah I find filing to be stressful and a bit difficult mostly because of the way things are worded. I don't own a home though, I'm only 22, and I made less than $3000 last year (combination of work + my deceased father's IRA), so for me personally, taxes aren't all that difficult. Took me about an hour. Not the case for everyone

How come human rights activists don't protest about taxes?
