things are looking good for the long dead Silent Hill franchise- the remake SH2 has been raved by fans.  

now they just have to remake SH3 and maybe some day there will be another feature film.

Liver King seems to have been shadowbanned by youtube. So his gimmick only lasted about 1+ years.

His recent videos only have a few thousand views but he has 1.21 million subs..

His content tearing apart bodybuilders and lost people are good, the rest is insane.

I am starting to watch Silent Hill 2 Remake.  It is a very devastating game with a unique atmosphere and a really good story & characters. I now understand better why it was often called a work of art & my ol' high school-middle school friends raved about it.  I only played Silent Hill 3 which was amazing but relied more on visual horror. 

Silent Hill 2 is more psychological and the whole setting of a fog-infested Maine town is literally what I experienced driving through Maine several times.  The state is often coated with this insane fog that makes driving pretty hazardous if it wasn't for the sparse traffic.  So many small towns look straight from horror films and this game.

‘Joker: Folie à Deux’ has had the worst second weekend decline for any “comic book” movie ever. The film earned $7M this weekend, that’s a miserable 81% drop. It’s only made $51M domestically since its release.

In fact, that drop is worse than ”The Marvels,” worse than “Morbius,” and even worse than the infamous “Halloween Ends” decline. What do all four of these films, including ‘Joker 2,’ have in common? Well, they’re just not good. Quality sometimes matters.

‘Joker 2’ earned the same in its second domestic weekend as ‘Beetlejuice 2’ did in its sixth domestic weekend, and ‘Beetlejuice 2’ is already readily available to rent on VOD. This all makes me wonder how soon ‘Joker 2’ will be sent to VOD? I would bet as early as the next Monday.

Just to keep track, that’s $51M domestically for ‘Folie à Deux’. Its estimated international total stands at $113.7M, and estimated global total stands at $165.3M. The budget for ‘Folie à Deux’ is said to have been $190M. Hard losses are coming for Warner Bros.

I heard that it just didn't meet the expectations of comic book fans and those who liked 1st movie.

the previous film grossed over $1 billion & the director, lady gaga, & phoenix were given 8-figure salaries for the sequel.  It seems like this will the final film given what I've read about the ending.  Besides being disliked by people who saw it but the premise & ending goes against what is established in the comic book universe.

The relationship between Harley Quinn & Joker is meant to be dominated by the Joker.  The Joker never plays second fiddle nor does he ever really 'listen' to Harley.  Harley is a totally enthralled follower, and obsessed with him.   She does break up with him from time to time but always manages to relapse some how, and her break ups tend to intwine her with the Batman, which she has sexual tension with.

There are scenarios from comic book writers where the Joker does revert back to his old identity though.  I think the mainstream audiences don't know that.

From what I gather the ending of Joker 2 is kind of a response to the controversy of Joker 1 in which critics were complaining that the film was glorifying lone-wolf violence & acts of terror.  So it is a cop-out in a sense, and self- protective of the filmmakers.

I finished listening to the audiobooks for the Witcher novels for a second time.  It's too bad that the franchise is on the decline- only a successful Witcher 4 can save it.  It's faded so much on youtube.

Silent Hill 2 & the remake are amazing games & story.  It is definitely one of the best written games ever made, with the most psychologically deep characters and scenarios.  It is high emotional IQ compared to Resident Evil.   I regret not playing it when I was a teen, and instead playing the SH3 which has an average story.  No wonder this game is seen as a classic for 2 decades.

Please tell me which ones. If I understood correctly, there is no general canon of the Joker's origin. And over time, there have been different interpretations depending on the series/universe. The robber who fell into chemicals is the most familiar to me. But I'd be interested to know more.
