@Stromboli1 is this "America First"?

Dumb if true, but I'm not seeing other sources cover it.

Like I said before, unwavering support for Israel will die off with the Boomers.

"Removed", they'll just rephrase it and put it back.

Nothing brings me more joy than sharing posts from ex-MAGA accounts.

Yeah, the professor made a good point about them wanting to get it done sooner rather than later. No more passing the problem down the line. Makes you wonder how ready everyone really is for that.

Honestly, if China decides to go all in, it’s hard to see what the allies could really do. The size and proximity of their (China) military makes any response risky and complicated. The allies can try to support Taiwan, but that's about it. Also, I honestly don't think that South Korea or Japan will risk a full-scale conflict.

Xi claims that they should not pass 'the problem' to the next generation.

The problem however is that an invasion of Taiwan is that it would likely lead to huge sanctions against China from the West. A large portion of the Chinese economy is reliant on dumping price competitive goods in the West. This would lead to a global recession and a collapse in living standards in the West and in China.

That is reason enough for the CCP to not invade Taiwan, as it is not worth it at all to gain a large island.

Also there is a lot of trade/movement between Taiwan and China, there is little purpose to invading it outside of political prestige.

The Chinese, like the Russians see Western civilization as a sinking/stagnating ship and the US political leadership as an unstable psychopathic mad dog especially with Trump & Biden. The Chinese call Trump "Comrade Trump" making fun of him as the secret CCP agent that would speed up the disappearance of the US from world history.

Overall security threats from the US and also the stagnation of Western economies these past 20 years has forced the Chinese to heavily diversify their trade/diplomacy away from the West and more towards the other 80% of the world.

Sean Duffy to unveil plan to build nuclear reactor on moon

Acting NASA Administrator Sean Duffy will announce later this week the agency's plan to build a nuclear reactor on the moon

Duffy's impending announcement comes as President Donald Trump's proposed 2026 budget intends to cut NASA's funding by 24% and its personnel by nearly one third. The Pentagon had also just cancelled a joint program with NASA which focused on developing nuclear-powered rocket engines. But at the same time, the White House has also increased its budget for human spaceflight funds, signaling that President Donald Trump remains committed to his goal to expand space travel – including Mars.

Health secretary RFK Jr. shuts door on U.S. investment in...

Vaccine experts and people steeped in pandemic preparedness expressed horror at the news that RFK Jr. has shut the door in U.S. investment in mRNA vaccine research.

Another vaccine program shut down, withdrawal from the WHO. At this point, you're literally asking for it. You're systematically dismantling the very tools we know save lives - all because a former heroin addict who drinks raw milk and swims in sewage water thinks vaccines are a hoax.

Like.. you literally brought measles back in 2025 and it caused multiple deaths. Jesus Christ.

The U.S. Secretary of “Health” who says “don’t take medical advice from me” is somehow making health decisions for the entire country, with zero medical background.

RFK Jr. has no medical background, but he’s running the country’s health policy while literally telling people not to take medical advice from him. He’s spent years spreading vaccine misinformation, questioning whether HIV causes AIDS (🤡) and casting doubt on lifesaving treatments (all who died from measles were unvaccinated). Now he’s cutting hundreds of millions in vaccine research and replacing real experts with conspiracy theorists.

What could possibly go wrong?
