"Highly unusual gathering comes as War Secretary Hegseth wants to cut 20% of senior officers"

These former Buckeyes… @Stromboli1

I'm going to hell for this

Well damn

This is really eye-opening interview (with historian who wrote a book about Hitler's drug abuse throughout his career). No wonder he has insane energy in speeches and turned into a physical wreck in the bunker by may 1945. His thinking/decisions became more and more degenerate as he was losing the war.
It makes me wonder if Trump is on drugs when he does his Hitler-like rallies. So much energy and he is different then when he is giving press conferences. The MAGA accused zombie Biden to be on drugs but so far nobody has wondered if Trump is on them when he needs to be. His tweets/thinking are similarly deranged much of the time.

No love for Bibi

I really don't understand why the current administration is glorifying this s***.

Even Saudi Arabia is on the right side of history.

Island-Elmo?

I’ve been to Trump rallies, twice, actually and what I saw couldn’t be further from the kind of imagery people like you try to invoke when you throw around comparisons to Hitler. Honestly, it’s laughable. The rallies were fun, upbeat, family-friendly, and filled with people from every walk of life. Sure, the Bible people who were preaching a bit much for my taste, but that’s their right, and it was my right to nod, smile, and move on. That’s how that works. There were plenty of people from “alternative lifestyles” too, myself included. I was welcomed with curiosity, respect, and genuine interest in my views and style of dress. That’s not fascism. That’s community. Hard concept right?
When Trump speaks, he’s engaging, funny, and yeah he repeats himself (a lot). But that’s his style. It’s not propaganda. It’s not authoritarianism. It’s a man speaking directly to the people who elected him, in language they understand and feel comfortable with. Comparing his rallies to Hitler’s isn’t just inaccurate, it’s bullshit and it's reckless. It cheapens history and insults the millions who suffered under actual tyranny.
And now you’re asking if he’s on drugs? That’s blatant stupidity. It’s a baseless smear that says more about you than it does about him. If you don’t like his policies, say so. If you disagree with his tone, fine. But throwing around drug accusations without a shred of evidence is juvenile and dishonest. It’s not political discourse, it’s gossip. And last I checked you aren't a 18 year old girl.
More than anything, it’s a slap in the face to those of us who support him. I am and will always be MAGA. I admire President Trump deeply, and I’m proud to call him my President. When people use extreme rhetoric to paint him as something he’s not, even if it's in passing, they’re not just attacking him, they’re attacking me, and millions of other Americans who believe in him and his vision.
And let’s be real: if I or any of his supporters thought for a second that he was actually doing drugs, we’d speak up. We’d be pissed the fuck off,, frustrated, and we’d call it out.
Disagree with his policies if you want. Debate his decisions. But stop weaponizing history and rumors. That’s not how you build understanding. That’s how you destroy it and then we get Charlie Kirk type of situations for people on both the right and left (mostly the left so far). Don't be part of the problem.

My biggest issue is the nonstop lies he tells. Just a few examples:
i) Claims he could end the Ukraine–Russia war in 24 hours (even before being elected)
ii) That tariffs are not a tax on Americans, or that foreign countries pay them.
iii) Promises to cut drug prices by “up to 1300%” (which is mathematically impossible)
iv) Tylenol / vaccines cause autism (they are not)
v) Claim that he’s ended “seven unendable wars” in seven months (not true, sometimes it's seven, nine, or even eleven)
Style is one thing, but when the style is built on constant falsehoods, it slides into propaganda. Repetition is how those lies stick.
EDIT: My goal here is a constructive conversation, not to attack anyone. I want to understand how you perceive this.
EDIT II: Here's the latest (a few hours ago)
https://tradingeconomics.com/united-states/inflation-cpi
If you examine the data, inflation has been steadily rising since April, coinciding with the implementation of tariffs. Despite repeated claims over recent months that "there’s no inflation", the numbers continue to increase.
https://www.bls.gov/charts/consumer-price-index/consumer-price-index-by-category-line-chart.htm
And this data shows that prices are actually going up, not down, as he claims in the video.

After seeing his medical records (some supposedly equal to a 25‑year-old athlete plus his height/weight was 100% wrong) and all the weird bruising on his hands lately, absolutely nobody on the right questioned his mental or physical capabilities. The White House claimed the bruises came from too much handshaking...and a few months later, they "developed" into chronic venous insufficiency.

He's got the skill and talent, needs to get out of his own head.
I'm more worried about Stroud. Hasn't been the same when he tried to big brother Caleb Williams.

Yeah he made a few nice catches in the second half including a tuddie.
Agreed, Texans aren’t looking good right now.
EDIT: maybe this guy is the issue https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nick_Caley
