Francy's stalker is now harassing other members I have gotten reports from Gonzalez Girl, whisperwarr, and *Bronx_Bomber*.

Here is a list of the usernames and email addresses of the problematic member. I know they are all the same person b/c they all post the same crazy nonsense and they all eventually professes their love for Francy. I banned all accounts already...

Are we not able to just ban in the IP address so that they cannot create another account?

That sounds awesome. I remember you saying that before and I forgot to ask...what about people that randomly have the same IP? Like Tooboku and me :ninja: . In such case if someone randomly had the same IP then would they be able to register ? Hopefully that's not an issue and we can do that .

I tried doing that but she often starts an account at establishments that have Wi-Fi like Starbucks and libraries. I also think she uses an IP Mask b/c many of her IP Address are inconsistent. Although recently most of her IP addesses have been from the Univ. of Rhode Island (131.128.***.***). I don't know should I just ban all IP Addresses that starts with "131.128" b/c that might mean legitimate members from URI might not be able to register here

I guess since you have to give an e-mail to register is there a way to block certain e-mails? Even though they obviously have many and will just make more, it seems every little inconvenience can help. I guess the ultimate goal should be making things as inconvenient as possible so they'll hopefully give up .

I have noticed she often uses email addresses from live.com and hushmail.com. But I don't know is it such a good idea to block live.com since it is a pretty popular email provider. Not sure how popular hushmail is.

Yea that would be a little much. I think IPB3 has better IP filters but we shall see. I have tested everything and am just trying to work out this new lightbox/gallery image thing tahts not cooperating. Hopefully I shall have teh upgrade ready this week for IPB3 to start the new year.

What version we on now, BZ 3.0? Limax -> IPB -> now?

Also, I asked sagitario about the luanova account and he says its his sister's. That they share the same computer. I'll keep an eye out for signs of course, but sounds reasonable enough .

That's the thing, I block everything I can with each new account she creates---including the email address. But she creates a new email address w/ each new account.

I have no clue what her motivation is. I guess she is hoping if she is persistent enough, Francesca and BB will fall in love w/ her Either way, it is obvious this person has serious problems :|

Yea it has better banning/managment. Supposedly its all linked into one central DB so it should stop those spammers that are random too. But we shall see.

And yea the gallery/lightbox is nice but I have spent all day trying to figure out a way not to break googles TOS so we dont get banned and there dont seem to be a way *keeps looking*

I have told both solange_09 and Kerri Lynn many times to not hotlink images. They did it again, so I warned them.

^ This member also harasses other members here as well, but she mainly targets Francy and *Bronx_Bomber*. She was harassing me for awhile too by sending me bizarre messages about how she is thinks her and I should go on a date I ignored her so she stopped...for now at least.

*Bronx_Bomber* and I think her new account is Sebastiao. I don't have enough proof to ban her yet, so I am keeping an eye on this member for now

do you guys think blessthefall and christine are the same person. I ask because there have been a ton of posts by both about halloween 2. and since 1 was banned and then the other shows up. idk just figured i'd give a heads up

I would say if there's suspicion, more than likely it is in this case . We still have to run the IP tool for formality and fairness of course, but he's got or had probably more than ten accounts that we identified and at least 6 had blessthefall in the name :shock: :shock: :shock: ....You can always spot him because he has this weird, awkward one liner spam type responses . At one point he got banned like three times the same day and kept on re-registering . There's no telling how many he's got out there, but I know we'll be ready for him/them....
