Maybe we can open it for a few hours to see if they come back?

Hey so I know we said we never delete accounts, but now the new software support the GDPR (Europe) requests by keeping all their posts but anonomyzing them. So it complies with the rules but doesn't destroy the content.
So feel free to use that. They cannot claim PII on posts supposedly
Only need to do it if they are european or if you feel like it.

I always thought the reason we don't delete accounts is to discourage members from starting new accounts and potentially trolling and/or violating our "no multiple accounts" rule ![]()
I can't remember is on BZ or another site, but historically deleting an account shouldn't delete any posts (unless we manually delete them). It just deactivates the account and change the handle to something generic like "Anonymous1" or "User1". Might be worth looking into![]()

Ok, I’m ok with staying with that policy and I’ll only delete if I receive a formal email.

This member, gedeon67, was banned during "the Spammer Wars" ( "collateral damage" the Pentagon would say).
He was later reinstated, but thousands of posts remained hidden.
Is there a feature to re-view them all at once?

Members @kayzer and the banned @Zinner are the same person.

How should we deal with him?

Have you reached out to them? Maybe it's a shared household. Its doubtful, but.....

His posts are of the same nature.
He has written to me in the past, including from a third user.
It's the same person, I can assure you.

FYI, received this DM. Looks like this member has gotten a few warnings for abusive behavior and trolling.

I used to post things in Candice's thread, but now I'm banned because I'm being punished for replying to a user who acts as a thought police. Before, there were a lot of people who commented and posted about Candice, but now they don't even congratulate her on her birthday. I've tried, but my post has been ignored. Anyway, I'd like you to answer me honestly about what's going on. In my opinion, this forum is on its way to death.

How is TheDude2K exactly breaking the rules? I know he repost a lot, and based on what you have said in another thread he sometimes edit images to make them seem as if they are "new". Is there anything else he is doing that is breaking the rules?
As for posting "random social media posts that have nothing to do with fashion", I could see how that would be annoying but is it necessarily a rule break? Personally I believe posting random social media content such as of the model/celeb having lunch, on vacation, or doing every day things, is unnecessary but again I am unsure is that a warnable offense. Seems like he is aiming to have a higher post count because it gives him some sorta personal validation.
At this moment I don't know what we could do about the random social media post, but I believe we could do something about the reposting and spamming especially when he has been warned about it in the past. We could put him on Mod Watch but considering how often he post, it would be a nightmare for us to have to constantly approve his posts.

I get that random social media posts aren’t technically against the rules, but I also feel like Matt’s is suuuuuper hyper focused on TheDude2K and tends to flag almost everything he does. It’s starting to feel more personal than actual rule-breaking. That said, maybe it’s time we consider a pinned post or updated guideline that clearly defines what counts as fashion-relevant content, just so we have something concrete to point to, however I don't think people will pay attention anyways. Maybe you should talk to Matt @PinkCouture - I'm too personally involved in the drama and if I say or do the wrong thing I'm going to get shit for it.

As someone who barely uses social media and follows no models at all, I actually like to see those here
I think Matt just has a personal vendetta against TheDude2K

I could talk to Matt but I am not sure if it would help or resolve anything as I don't see an issue with what TheDude2K is doing. I could understand why it might annoy some people but he isn't doing anything that violates any rule.

He's just not letting this go. I just got that.
These are the links he's talking about. Hes not letting this go, and frankly I'm over hearing about it.

^ Has Matt or anyone else expressed their frustration to TheDude2K yet? Also is this what got TheDude2K warned before or was it b/c of something else? I usually don't encourage this, but if this upsets Matt to the point he can't let it go, I think he should talk to TheDude2K about this.
