Maddog,
Well in a job setting its always nice when people praise each other for a job well done.
So in this case I feel its relevant here too.
In the past I've sent you praise for Mauikane,
And right now I'll add PinkCouture and Michael* to the list. They are always very attentive, courteous, fair, polite and take swift action!
As the head guy of this forum that's why I'm telling you.
Glad to hear you guys are loved. Thanks for the great work you do at BZ ![]()

I knew if I bribed enough people, one of them would end up putting in a good word for me. ![]()
Is there a list of banned image hosts somewhere? And how does one tell if a host is a cashhosting site or not?

I often wonder about that too actually, if there are any telltale signs to look out for. Half the time, it's hard to know the difference.
Should we maybe introduce a rule that you can't start a thread if you have less than X (5-10?) posts? Would that help with the spam problem? Seems I'm deleting several of these spam threads a day, and I'm sure I'm not the only one.. <_<

^Yeah, good point about the Model ID thing. I think a small limit like 5 posts however is not a hard barrier to get through for someone genuine.. but enough of one to get through for a spammer. But then I don't know if that would mean we would just get more spam in existing threads rather than new ones ![]()

For some, its easier to program a bot to make random threads than it is to reply to one, so the ones that reply to existing threads are much more rare at least. They're usually for porn, pharmaceuticals, escorts, mail order brides
and post like forty posts in the same minute. Most of the ones that reply to threads are human like the Juicycouture one and those that hotlink pictures that lead to their blogs. They seem to be evolving. They used to all have creepy cartoon avatars like this...

...whereas now, they seem to almost all have no avatar or sig at all which makes me suddenly do a double take whenever I see a post without a set of any kind.

Yeah, I remember a few years ago, we had a spell where the forum was being spammed half to death, so I suppose half a dozen attacks a day is a comparatively quiet time, really. It's certainly still an annoyance though, and for what it's worth, I think the idea of imposing a small post limit could be worth experimenting with.
I wonder if it could be set up so that in certain sections, members must have a certain number of posts in order to create new topics? Stopping the bots from specifically targeting ‘General Babe Discussion’ (as they seem to be doing at the moment) might be enough to reduce the total amount of spam appearing.
The model ID thing is definitely a valid point, but I’m not sure we'd miss the people who disappear after registering solely for the purpose of making requests (be it model IDs or image tricks) all that much.
^That's what I was thinking, but in reverse. So it's restricted everywhere, except in certain subforums (eg. Model ID, Milestones & Hospitality).
If it has to be a blanket restriction though:
1. For the Model ID forum, I don't think the restriction is that big a deal, if the post requirement is low. And like you said, if we lose the people whose only intent is to post that one question and disappear again, who cares?
2. For the Milestones & Hospitality forum, we could always make an 'Introduce Yourself' thread where new members can just post in there instead of having to create a new thread to do it.

Wow, a compliment!?
Thanks to whoever sent you that PM ![]()

PhilA is wondering what happen to the Fashion Model Directory?
The thread seems to have disappeared ![]()

It seems like a number of random threads have gone MIA over the last month or so. I didn't touch the Model Directory (that I'm aware of), so
I don't even know which section it was listed in.
Maybe there's something wrong with our forum server and it's randomly deleting threads?

^ Thanks
It's ok. I will let him know we are going to try to retrieve the the thread. if we can't it is not a big deal since the thread is extremely outdated anyways ![]()
EDIT: Founded it in the thread tomb and restored it! ![]()

So, how should we handle the leaked nude pics that are making the rounds on the internet?
Apparently they were hacked off the celebrities' phones.
Not sure if we should really host such content on here?
Thoughts?

^I see quite a few sites are taking down the images, IDK maybe just to be safe we should make sure they aren't posted?? maybe at the very least the nude ones?

Hmmm...tough one
On one hand If it is already all over the internet and could be found with a simple Google search then it might be ok, as long as it doesn't violate any of our nudity rules and not from a private social media account like a personal FB page. In this day and age no digital content is truly "safe". However on the other hand it is an issue of moral and being respectful. Did the celeb contact us to take the photo down? If yes, then we should probably do it.

Sites and forms are images are dropping LIKE FLIES I say we prohibit any posting of the pics....I guess they can be talked about, but we should make sure none of the images are posted that can somehow link back to our site and cause us issues cause ATM it seems like alot of stuff is going down because of it!

OK now just went to Twitter.....pics everywhere.......damage done
still we shouldn't let the pics be directly posted here IMO just to be safe

^^ Yeah I have no problems talking about it, it's funny as hell, but we gotta keep the nudes off the site.
