kinda suspicious? What are teh two usernames and we can match them up via IP. If they dont match then I would not agree to change pass or email.
hmmm weird. I'd say i could try to reach her on FB, but that also requires email log in. So that could be compromised as well. hmm

Her first post with this account was to ask me what to do http://www.bellazon.com/main/index.php?act...amp;pid=2448004
, so I think to use basically the same name as well as identify herself and ask a staff member about it with the first post she would have to be legit...or crazy ![]()
. But I've been hacked myself, I just happened to know the person personally so it didn't come to much
.

Whats Vanessa real username? Or old one rather. When I check out the IP there are only 2 memebers with that IP
Vanessaaxox (81.154.70.213)
vanessaxox (81.154.70.213)
Couldnt find Vanessa's username though
she sounds familiar but I dont rememebr ![]()

It's spelled Vanessaaa with the extra s and as
.

Hmm so the real vanessa is
host81-146-36-143.btremoteinternet-dsl.bt.net
The others are
host81-154-70-213.range81-154.btcentralplus.com
Whats wierd is that one resolves to Manchester and one resolves to London. So um..... does no one have her contact info, like to chat or something? She hasnt logged in since the 10th so it may be true that she did forget her pass. Still suspicious though ![]()

I guess we shall give her the benefit of the doubt, go ahead and reset the email and/or password for her and we shall just keep a close eye out.
I checked her FB and there has been no activity since the 12th. FB also requires an email login, so perhaps that explains it as well

Suggested rule change...for a Model ID that's a couple or more years old and the thread starter obviously isn't an active member, could maybe three confirmations from others take the place of a confirmation from the thread starter
? A lot of those are made by people who just started the same thread on all the forums like this they knew of, checked back for a week or so and forgot about it and they take up a lot of space. The less cluttered it is, the more likely active member's requests are to be seen.
Hey Joe, I'm making my way to Model-ID again and deleted some of the dead-links-guest-poster stuff.
I'd also closed&moved some of the IDed threads, when the thread was a) old, like from 2007 and b) checked, if it's really the suggested girl by checking her thread. I mean if it actually IS the girl because the same pic was posted in her thread, it's proof, isn't it. I want to start PMing the thread-starter and ask for confirmation when I come to the more recent threads.
I take the ID-thing very seriously. I'm all with you when it comes to "3 times makes a yes", but also I think if for example I as a mod actually found the proof (am not talking about me simply recognizing a girl, am talking about going to the girl's thread, searching the thread, finding the proof), it should be sufficient too.

If you are sure I wouldn't mind looking the other way
since you're a serious fashion fan who knows about shows, editorials ect. A lot of members however just get pics from google and there's a lot of pics of models in the wrong threads as a result (yeah I left them and am ashamed
...well...not really
), so we probably need to stumble upon a working, clear cut rule to make it more fool proof for the general population though I have no problem with you acting when you are sure of course
. Other than you, I wouldn't mind one person if they had the actual show and editorial of course.
Okay, I'll take that as a go and proceed then (Y)

A member (DanniCullen) says she saw a nude ad at the bottom of the fashion models forum
. Do different countries have different advertisements
?
Probably yes ... ![]()
I don't know, it's also connected with google, so when I googled for - say catlitter - I get advertisement for pet shops and stuff, so if I would google for -say sexy nude Candice- ... probably I get all sorts of ... stuff, you know ... ![]()

I think i *finally* figured out why new members couldn't register ![]()
apparently the spam filter I created (which is working as it should) creates too many members for the registration/name change thing to hold in an array. I reduced the retention time from 10 days to 5 days (~250,000 entries) and now its working again. Hopefully it'll stay this way if not ill have to reduce it further.
I never understood the technical side of things, but YAY for fixing the problem, Maddog!! ![]()

Ermm...tried moving/updating the "3 Things To Make BZ Even Better" thread but I think I ended up deleting the whole thread. The [original] thread is not in the Thread Tomb though so I don't know what happened. Tried fixing it but I get an error message saying I "...do not have permission to use this feature..." Perhaps my permission got revoked
If so, could someone please let me know. Either way, HELP!!! ![]()
EDIT: I guess it got fixed ![]()

Hello there
, but it seems you've somehow deleted it multiple times and restored it somehow, so as weird as that is, no harm done I guess
.

I was trying to delete the "moved" links so it wouldn't clutter the thread. Either way glad it is ok now (Y)
