Oh my gosh what happened in that thread?^I hadn't played celeb scoop in a while, since when did 30 names randomly get thrown in the mix (when its only supposed to be 10?). So whoever changed it to that I'm pretty sure already violated the rules of the game. 

And whats with Laura_, lostdiadem and that whole thing? Sorry Pink I just haven't been on/looked at that thread in a while

EDIT OK just looked at the thread too, wtf Myfashexp and Isabell really messed around, posting male scoops in the thread, changing colors, IDK something very fishy, not sure if they were trying to be annoying on purpose or what. 

Nobody has been playing that game fair. 

It's a real struggle to make sense of the game, let alone the stuff going on in the background.

^ I have printed out all the PMs members have sent me about what happened and skim through most of them. So far I can tell you all they are ALL at fault!

I will read through all the PMs soon and give you guys an update on what exactly caused the issue and how it  escalated. I will reopen the thread once we agree on some game adjustments (Y)

Before I re-open the Celebrity Scoop I want to discuss updating the rules slightly.
 
So basically what happened was there were too many names on the lists and players got confused. For some reason one of the players (from what I've gathered I am pretty sure it was either Peroxideblonde or Lostdiadem ) decided to keep the long list they already had but still let each player add one name per day :notsure: There was some sorta vote. PB, LD, Isabell & Myfashexp all agree to update the rules from, starting a new round with the top 10 names from previous round to including all the names from the previous round    Laura_ did not like the updated rule so she purposely messed up the game by adding multiple names per day and editing her votes so she would get 100th vote. This pissed off PB, LD, Isabell and Myfashexp especially b/c Laura_ would "steal their girls" by cheating. So PB, LD and Isabell started to gang-up on Laura_, baiting, bashing and bullying her. This spilled into other threads and all 4 were in bitch fight. That was when I closed the Celebrity Scoop thread.
 
I think it is best if we went back to the original rule of starting each round with the top 10 names from the previous round. Instead of having the limit of 100 names on the list per round it should be reduced to 25 to decrease confusion. What do you guys think?

It definitely seems like simplifying the game is the way to go. If that means going back to the old rules, I'm all for it.

So somewhat belatedly, this message appeared in the BZFB inbox last night. Bearing in mind that there's been some fairly recent activity in her thread, I was just wondering if were still in favour of taking it down?

It definitely seems like simplifying the game is the way to go. If that means going back to the old rules, I'm all for it.

The original rule Jennka posted was 100 names maximum. That was what initiated the issue and confusion among players b/c it's too many names. So I was thinking we could modify the rule to 25 name maximum.

I think the rule is max of 100 names in the hall of fame, but every round there is only supposed to be a constant of 10 girls (?). 

The hall of fame has grown really big, so I guess we could clear it and start all over because some of these winners won years ago?

It was several months ago that she initially made noises about wanting the thread taken down, and as I understood it, the plan was for the Facebook message she sent us to serve as our verification. Her topic isn't what I would call popular, but it's been used quite sporadically and was active as recently as the middle of August.

I'd be in favour of going 25. I think anything we can do to simplify the game would be a good thing at this point.

I didn't know there was any conversation in such threads but 25 sounds good to me too for the sake of letting the people who enjoy it have it while ending the bickerig and such.

I think those were her initial rules then they got changed along the way to 10. Thats how every celeb scoop round has been played for a while now

But I agree no more than 25 sounds good!

I hope you remember me. I am a 7-year member of BZ. I was once a moderator, but I resigned a few years ago, because I felt at the time that my busy and hectic schedule prevented me from satisfactorily performing my duties.

Well, I am semi-retired now and my schedule is significantly more manageable now. 

I notice that a current moderator ganymede 30324 has not been active since 2010, so if your goal is to maintain a full BZ staff, you are technically one person short.

So... I am wondering if you would consider "reappointing" me as a BZ moderator?
