I'm looking at the VS x FLL Holiday campaign and it's interesting to me how they can put out such good work with their collaborations and then be so entirely lacklustre with their own mainline. I'm sure FLL is leading the art direction on this, but you'd think VS would want to at least pretend to compete on the same level with their other lines.

I completely agree with you, too darn hot! The VS holiday is lackluster to me. 

Just chiming in to say that I agree that VS holiday is lackluster. very disappointing. 

Almost everyone of those pictures scares me.

The trend is definitely going with cute instead of sexy. VS has always dominated sexy as the cute market is saturated.

Ok, looks a bit better. 

Glad the lighting isn’t so harsh on the spring campaign. That’s one of the main things that stuck out on the holiday photos. 

It still looks washed out/flat lighting to me.  Obviously this is working for them since they're still trucking along with this style but it really isn't selling to me as a consumer. 

Although I don't totally dislike the holiday photos but I do think they are underwhelming and kinda "meh"   One thing I thought was humorous and lame were the public bathroom shoots (and the noticeable number of shoots taken in the bathroom in general) :

Maybe VS is trying to tell us something

Before: Candice has a tummy ache and is disrobing. After: Alexina had a nice and freeing experience in the toilet

I said something about the shots being taken in a bathroom on Candice's thread! I tihnk it's s so weird, even though it's a pretty bathroom. I REALLY don't undersand VS. 

The new Spring pictures look better than I expected, so that's nice at least.
