Yeah well shit. I don't know what I was thinking last Friday but I made pancakes for everyone except they were all still asleep so I left notes on everyone's doors. Her light was on so I knocked and she said she wasn't hungry so I left her the note anyway and she chuckled and started getting ready for school.
I don't know what I was thinking but after she left I wrote more on the back of her note... something like
"Hopefully next time you won't be hungry or late for class, your brother isn't the only one who misses you."
I suppose she got it but I kinda wish I didn't do that now. Waiting for her to come back from her parent's house is killing me.

From what I've gathered, appearing uninterested could get her interested in you(IF she's interested at all). Dunno how far it's true but it worked for some people I know. Worth a try. If that doesn't work, just give up

It'll probably do more harm than good if I told her. She'd just withdraw even more than she has already. She's almost never home. When she is, she doesn't talk to anyone in the house. She never comes out for anything and she tries not to make and noise at all if she ever does go out of her room. If anyone knocks on her door, she's either studying, not hungry, or on the phone. I don't know what it is, and I've tried my best to understand it but I'm only human.
Best thing to do for everyone... tell someone I trust so they can keep me in check and try to get over it. She can have the solitude she craves so much and I can go back to my encryption algorithms and network security. If I could convince myself she not interested, which doesn't need much, I could get over it easier. Then I can get on track withouth a glitch. If something happens later down the road and she decides to open up, hopefully I'll still be interested enough to do something about it. Otherwise, she's just not ready for Toobs. Even if she is interested she's definitely not giving me very many opennings, if any at all. If I had a chance for a proper move, I'd do it but the truth is I don't. I have to settle for pancakes and secret santa presents.
