It's not getting any better.
Last night was the worst. I was just sitting in the livingroom doing work on encryption and it was one of the odd times she came out of her room. She was watching the State of the Union address on C-span.... You know how hard it is to get over a really smart girl whose passionate and well informed about politics? Especially when her eyes are all glowing from a really inspiring speach from Barack and then the Republican response that was pretty much in harmony minus a few things that they really do think should be done differently? And she's wearing skinny jeans with a v-neck t-shirt and a small vest with the earings you gave her?
I should really tell her how I feel but then I start thinking too much. Like how she's not sure if she wants to stay in her program and whether or not she should move back with her parents and do Uni there. I think that's an awesome idea actually but I'm scared if I tell her now, that might effect her dicision... on the slim chance that she might reciprocate some of my feelings.
God I hate being human.

hohoho!
damn! she's evil!
and you're soo doomed!
It seems you're the victim in this ![]()

Indeed...
She went missing for a couple days and I may have accidentally given her father a dirty look when he dropped her back home. teeheehee...
Anyway, I've decided I don't need to try to get over this. I don't need an agenda. I don't know why it was implied I needed one. This thread wasn't really started for that reason and I never had any intent on manupulating anything. Just needed to vent.
I just got to remember to live day by day.
Also... ^_^

aw well, nothing much to do now except wait and enjoy her company whenever she decides to come out of her room.
Quite an interesting case(girl) you have there, keep us(me!) posted
I was in a similar situation once. You know, smart, attractive girl, focussed on studies and totally uninterested. They've got a strange kind of appeal. Can't explain it. Drove me mad at some point, but then, you need to accept the fact that nothing is gonna happen between you two, crush all hopes ![]()
(I could be wrong, but that's your safest bet). Have patience.

FML
Why her?
She had last Thursday off from school so she went back to her parent's place Wednesday night. I told her to have a nice weekend but she insisted she would come back on the Friday for that class and said "See you Friday". She usually skips that class. Anyway, Thursday night I got everyone chocolates and got her a particularly nicer box but not too nice as to freak her out. The next day comes by and I put all the goodies in front of the respective doors and for her I leave a note stating that I didn't forget about her but her chocolates are in my room to hide them away from chocolate thieves. I also informally suggested an outing. Anyway, long story short, no surprise, the note remained untouched. I even came back home from school a couple times to see. So now there is a heart shaped box of chocolate in my room which is fast approaching it's expiry date in terms of appropriateness and a crazy brain in my head head which thinks it's her whenever I sees any 5'4" brunette walking around at school. Okay so not literally that way. I know how she walks but still, you kind of hope it's her anyway.
Seriously, how on earth can a guy crush on a girl whose face he's literally has only seen for a total of 30 seconds this entire week?
She either must really be that good or he's just plain delusional.
Just know you're not the only one who goes through things like this. Sorry I don't have any input on your situation though.
Just make a move. A proper one. With no pancakes or notes. Or drop the whole thing.
I agree with this intelligent young chap!

I agree too but I can't find a damn openning.

maaan, this sucks, that girl you're after is getting on my nerves <_<
why does she have to run off to her parents place at every single damned occasion?
I dunno about you but that would annoy the shit outta me! I'd just give up and move on.
Dude, this thread is getting annoying. Here's what you gotta do. Either go and tell her how you feel, take rejection and swallow sadness, or you just drop the whole thing. Coming here and venting about how she is ignoring you, (and why shouldn't she, you are just another guy) isn't going to do anything, and i don't know how it makes you feel better. Besides, pretty much everyone who posted here suggested you do the same, i don't know why can't you just go do it, instead of "Oh i got candy for everybody, but to show you how special you are, i got you the prettiest box." Or maybe you just enjoy the "attention" you are getting here on BZ, and that's why you have 7 threads dedicated to yourself, started by yourself.

Uummm.. WOW.. harsh dude..
But Toobs an attention whore? hhmmm...
IDK.. it is not easy to be rejected.. and fear can be more stronger than want. I get where Toobs is in this.. But Toobs .. NO FEAR dude.. Live like Nike and Just DO It...

:lost:

Ha! I hoped this thread would have wasted away by the time I got back.
russel, go fuck yourself. lol.
also, the next victim was me.
i apparantly encountered one of the fabled unicorns of the lesbian community. no l-bone whatsoever.
TooBoku's Message: The Curse of the Coded Chocolates
