For the past few weeks I have been checking the background of various members b/c I am thinking about adding 4-5 more moderators to the staff My idea is to add 2-3 mods who will mainly monitor the "Babes" forums (like "Fashion Models," "General Babe Discussion," and etc) and 2 who will mainly monitor the "Hot Guys" forums (there seems to be a lot of trolling, hotlinking, etc. there :| )

The first person I want to add is JoeKnight b/c he I think he has the maturity to handle situations, he is here quite often, he is also a mod on AlessandrasBeijos (where I am also admin), and he does not have a conflict of interest.

What I mean by "conflict of interest" is, as some of you might know LoveVSModels is not a fan of BZ b/c we banned JuiaX (the owner of LVSM) for multiple accounts and trolling. And it has been made very clear that LVSM wants to take members away from us and they are hoping for the demise of BZ. Since many members here are also members on LVSM, I am planning to do some further investigation to filter out those members that we know definitely do not have BZ's best interest

If it is ok with you all, I will contact JK and ask him what he thinks about joining our team

I agree about both the need for more and about Joe, sounds good to me . I know nothing of these forums you speak of, but thanks for the info. And yeah...the singers and actresses forums are hotlink ect. city too probably because its less frequented like the Hot Guys...I mainly rely on reports from Klaus and CooperIshot for that, but it sure would be good to have someone in the trenches there .

If you're doing background checks I would suggest Nefertiti for the Actress and Singer forums. Since I explained to her what hotlinking was she's been the main reporter of it in those forums (as Ariesdior is to the model forum) and she's one of the primary frequenters of those forums and would be able to keep up with it. Only con being I'm not sure she actually talks/writes enough to really gage enough about her personality to make a full assessment ....But great idea on looking into it in general .

Although Layla has been a long time member and she contributes a lot, I have to say no b/c many of the comments she makes are borderline bashing and baiting---she should know better than that Also, she often presents herself in an unpleasant, presumptuous and condescending manner towards her fellow members.

Ok, now for the rest of you ...

I can't speak for all, but it seems to me the consensus of most memebers I know of think she's one of the nicest people here . I'd definitely have her in my own top 10 nicest female members. And there are a lot of situations that can turn bad or awkward that she seems to handle better than most members I think. And I'm not just saying that because I like her as one of my own brothers who I love I'll tell any is mean as a snake .

But in any case she told me to not let anyone make her one because most of the members she use to know are gone and she can just comment in exhisting threads :morning: .

Obviously our interactions, observations and opinions in regards to her differ quite a bit I guess that is what makes the democratic process so interesting and in some ways effective. The exchange of ideas and perspectives is always beneficial to all parties involved

I miss some of the "old"members as well But I understand people progress and move on. It is part of life. Eventually most of us will have to do the same

But speaking of which, as to our project new moderator, I see right after I suggested Nefertiti so she could help us with the Actress forum she got herself a warning for baiting, noooooooooo !!!!! So how's operation JoeKnight going ?

I am glad she has matured I actually don't dislike her. I barely know her so it is tough to really decide how I feel about her

As for Nefertit...I KNOW!!! She was doing so well!!! I already explained to her ways of saying things in a non-bashing and baiting way. I think she kinda gets it now

Ok, JoeKnight said he will be mod. I haven't changed his member status yet b/c I want to recruits all the mods at the same time After doing A LOT of investigating and research, I have come up with the following members:

Kevork89

Bethmermaid

Lady Fatale

MauiKane

ganymede30324

I decided on these members based on...

1) How well they are able to express their opinions appropriately without baiting, bashing and flaming

2) How active they are

3) I checked their IP addresses to make sure there aren't multiple accounts and trolling

4) Their general knowledge of the rules

I haven't approached any of them yet except for JK. I will send them all a PM individually either tomorrow or Wednesday to asked would they like to be mod.

BTW, I think we should re-implement our mod log limit policy. I was thinking each mod (including myself) should try to make at least 25 logs each month. This included editing signatures posts, threads, etc. and tasks under "Moderation Options"

I hope Nefer follows what you said comes along quickly in that area then because she'd obviously be a huge asset in Actresses/Singers .

I only know Joe, Beth, Lady and Maui (though I've seen Kevork before), but I trust your judgement .

Only.....with Beth....she is one of my favorite people here and definitely fits most of the criteria. My only concern about her is I think she is the type that feels really, really hurt when people are upset with her or even if she assumes someone is upset with her (I'll try to find more specific instances since that's somewhat vague) so that would be my main concern for a leadership role. But she does follow the rules, is very mature and positive minded and is great at making peace. But if there is more staff (as this would bring), then she won't be on an island anyway, so she may be comforted about the other issue by the backup until she gets a stronger feel .

Ok, point considered. What do you think of CarMELita? I know in the past we have had some negative opinions about her (perhaps there still is---I am not sure ) and there was some misunderstanding with the nudity rule. But since then she seems to be fine. She also seems to be pretty active and I can see her putting her foot down when needed to be
