Well, I'm back now...seems like it was all a dream. :| My daughter was pretty dang surprised that she has SO much family. She met about 200 new people in 3 days...lol

We went to St. Louis, Missouri It's where virtually all my extended family lives, both my mother's (the Greeks) and father's sides of the family.

lol, i'm sure she forgot most of them but I told her the story of my mom and her brothers and sisters living in Greece during the war and how my mom and her sister had to come to America by themselves when they were kids. blah blah blah...so I made sure she got the main Great Aunts and Great Uncles down...the rest of the cousins...forget it there are hundreds, yeah thousands!!! 
I tried the same with my Dad's side but we didn't spend as much time with them.

awww, but my wanting to stay on vacation wasn't about being lazy it's just that I didn't get to visit all that much with people since there were SO many to try to see.

Here's an interesting story (well at least to me): Janie went swimming on Monday (july3) with 2 other little girls for almost 3 hours (adults were sitting on the porch a few yards away talking and watching). During the course of this time I noticed her trying on these goggles and looking under the water. Before this, she has never been one to like even getting her ears under the water. Well, before I knew it, she was going all the way under for several seconds at a time and before they stopped swimming she was swimming under the water all the way across this 8 foot pool. WTH? Aparently she has to learn things all by herself. I am so proud.
