That is such a precious story Sometimes you just got to be patient and let kids learn things by themselves. I think letting kids play and interact w/ each other is crucial to their development. Then again, I am a bit bias having been in childcare for 7 years

I think too much of anything is bad, but children need both...healthy interaction with adults AND children. We should stay conscious that children WANT to learn...they just need the right setting to motivate them....and it's not the same for all children.

Yes, the amount of taxes we pay sucks. It's not about the war though, nor Bush, nor Repulican, nor Democrats (actually it's both of them)...and keep in mind Bush actually lowered some taxes. The problems with taxes started back in the early 1900's. It's a very interesting topic to study. Our founding fathers revolted over much less.

I agree, but I am speaking in general terms. Like people always say they need to "find" themselves. I just feel it is not something that is lost. It is something you create w/ life experiences

I see what you mean now. I think people use that "finding themselves" as a cop-out many times...a means of excusing themselves from resposibility in fact. <_< We humans are very adept at such self trickery, believing our own illusions....even to the point that we establish philosophies and such, write books, teach classes and build temples all for the sake of allowing ourselves to live in our comfort zone. Heaven forbid we ever admit we might be wrong or have made a mistake and it might take work that requires us to actually DO something to fix, or that we open our mouths for a helping of pride to swallow.
