don't be silly darling dear! Changing is not needed! I am in my pajamas and would feel horribly under-dressed if you put on something formal!

So since i don't share much of my personal life on here:
My grandma that lives about 1 1/2 hours form me isn't doing to well. She's bleeding behind her eye and going to see a specialist about it. Needless to say i'm more then a bit worried.
I'm so sorry Limer, I hope she does better soon darling!
I know the feeling, my Grandmother was the world to me.

Its funny Limer, I was on the train and this guy I was talking to pulled out a Rush CD and he started by saying, "I don't know if you've heard of them, but.." and of course I said I knew them and they were one of my favorite bands ect. And he said, "isn't he (Geddy) just your favorite rock singer?" :| I tried to get around that one by saying I prefer Roy Orbisons's voice, but Geddy's a heck of a bass player and actually I couldn't stop myself and threw in that I didn't think Geddy's voice was that great, but that his uniqueness and enthusiasm counts for a lot
, but he wasn't offended. And for some reason that caused me to look them up quickly on a lunchbreak and I found out Peart was inducted into the Canadian Songwriting Hall of Fame and then that they were all inducted. Of course I had never heard of this honor, but it was interresting to learn
.

Thanks Ophelia, it sucked losing my great grandmother, whenever i was over at their house (my grandma, her mother and my grandpa) I'd stay home and my great grandma would always make me chicken noodle soup when I was young
Out of all the great grandchildren i think i spent the most time with her, and when she passed away it never really hit me because i was to young to understand the concepts of death and living. But now that I look back I miss those times, she was a wonderful woman it's just too bad.
And ya this grandma means so much to me too, she too makes amazing chicken noodle soup
And milkshakes and just a whole bunch of amazing things she does. But so is the cycle of life i guess, I gotta phone them one day and see how they are.

The average Rush fan is something along those lines, while we are dedicated to Rush we don't force it down other peoples throats or anything along those lines.
And yes Geddy's bass skills are amazing over the years what he can do, he's always thought of himself as a bassist first, then singer then keyboardist. Neil is just an amazing writer, in songs and in books i have one of his books (i need to finish it) called Ghost Rider, when i bought it again i was to young to really understand what all it was about/how he felt but now I'm gonna read it again and see if i can't grasp it now but Neil no-one can deny is a wonderful lyricist but also one of the best drummers of all time. ![]()
And as much as i think Moving Pictures is overrated/overplayed this is still a wonderful song in all dimensions.

I´m sorry about your grandma Limmey ![]()

Canada bans 'Money For Nothing'
Music is not only amongst the premier forces in 21st century entertainment but also a fascinating document on society. Looking back over the history of rock and pop, we can see a window into a world that no longer exists, both for good and bad. A fact that Dire Straits have just been made patently aware of.
Despite not having made a studio album in over 20 years, Mark Knopfler's iconic ‘80s act have been dragged into a censorship row surrounding their most famous song, ‘Money For Nothing'. A watchdog in Canada has banned the track from being broadcast on their airwaves, after deeming it too offensive.
The ruling centres on lyrics in the track and the word "f****t", which features three times in the second verse. It reads: "The little f****t with the earring and the makeup. Yeah, buddy, that's his own hair. That little f****t's got his own jet airplane. That little f****t he's a millionaire".
Officials at the Canadian Broadcasts Standards Council are understood to have received an official complaint when an unedited version of the song, which won a Grammy for the Best Rock Performance and featured a landmark video, was aired in their country, where it topped the charts in 1986.
The panel were warned that 'Money For Nothing' was "extremely offensive" to gay, lesbian and bisexual people and have now reached a similar conclusion. They decided that "f****t", when used to describe a homosexual man, is a word "that, even if entirely or marginally acceptable in earlier days, is no longer so."
"The societal values at issue a quarter century later have shifted and the broadcast of the song in 2010 must reflect those values, rather than those of 1985," ruled the council. This means any station that wishes to play the track must edit it or disguise the offending word.
Originally written by Knopfler and Police frontman Sting, the roots of ‘Money For Nothing' are well documented. The Dire Straits leader apparently encountered the protagonist in a New York appliance store, observing him and making notes as he went about his job as an employee in the hardware department.
"I borrowed a bit of paper and started to write the song down in the store. I wanted to use a lot of the language that the real guy actually used when I heard him, because it was more real," he said.
Of course, it could have just been banned for being a bit rubbish! <_<

That is a heck of a song Limer
.
But back to the legs thing for a moment. I have two slight inconsistencies about looks though.
1. I think legs with a touch of tone (dancer like) look the best, but I like softer just as much
.
2. I think toned (non-muscle) abs look the best, but I prefer [flat] soft far and away more
.

But aside from that I KNOW BARON!
That's such a wonderful song! But of course welcome to Canada
Apparently it was ONE person who complained, just one, not anyone else. I don't get the world now adays, it's okay for everything else but that after over 20 years? That's one of the classic songs of all time! I personally can't stand that, and I personally am gonna be blasting that song when I drive now

]^So, ONE person can dictate what gets heard and what doesn't on Candian radio?Crazy!
It wasn't Scott from South Park was it? He's a dick!
He's always trying to stop people having fun in Canada - so I'm guessing it was probably him...
(And very sorry to hear the lady has a boyfriend... Don't they always!
)
