I know I could look it up, but I'd rather hear from you what your take is on what happened to Canada's hockey team in Turin. I wasn't as hardcore into the winter games back then as I am now. That is if its not too bad of a memory or anything 
. I kindof felt sorry for those Swiss women in that last game though although they obviously weren't expected to win anyway.
Women's hockey is a bit of a joke, it's usually only Canada and the US that do anything 
Mind you in the past few years, other teams (mostly Finland) have gotten better but at the end of teh day it's mostly the US and Canada, so those types of games happen.
It's fine, I was in highschool at the time, I remember we were all really excited for the team, it was a bit old and a bit slower we knew that but we thought it would be okay. But that lack of youth and lack of speed really hurt us. We couldn't score as much and we just didn't have the extra oomph the other teams seemed to of had. That's pretty much it.
This years team has some people I think that should be on there (Giroux) but alas, I don't pick the team 
I work at 11am the day of the gold medal game and it starts at 7am local time 
I want to watch even if Canada isn't in it.

A lot of people think its Canada's to lose but I suppose that's natural. Hopefully you can tape it at least 
. Obviously a taped sports program isn't the same, but I guess better than nothing. It seems that the pressure on Russia's team is even greater than I assumed. Any hockey players you know come out of the closet? I ask that in light of the recent NFL draft story that is.
