there were times when I used to defend her here - she was quite popular at tfs but people here mostly just bashed because she was "scaaary thin" or something like that... then it all calmed down, then she started to work for VS and her HF carrieer was doomed

Believe me, nothing would please me more at BZ than to see Behati adorn it's logo - but I'm well aware that that's never going to happen via a poll. She hasn't got a large fan-base here and I'm not popular enough (indeed if anybody is anyway) to swing it my way. I gave up on voting for anything in the polls ages ago when I realised how fruitless it was, and how futile it is to question other people's motives. I know my tastes are not exactly simpatico with the BZ masses.
As I've already said to you: I wish you well, and maybe this time I'll vote as it is important (and you can't really complain if you haven't participated); but I'd rather have seen a different approach. I just see it becoming another case of depressing familiarity, as happens whenever anyone sets up a popularity contest here...
