I forgot to say awhile ago, that was a great story you told about how good it was for you to see a redhaired Disney star in the light of being made fun of at school and I never thought about the fact that being called fat at least before I could apply it to sports, it felt good for me to see Pacha (Emperor's New Groove Guy) and Shrek seeing as how there weren't many heavy set heroes that I knew of when I was coming up (all thin or toned types). But the main thing I wanted to say was, its kindof funny to me how differently I see the mermaid movie having seen it recently babysitting. When I was a kid tbh, I didn't like Ariel and just thought she was a traiter
. But it was so strange that when I saw it (half of it, left off after Ursula song) the second time its amazing how differently I saw it. When I watched this time I related all of a sudden in that I still love the country and love going there, but I also love living in the city because there are more people and different things here. It wasn't that I didn't love the country and likewise when I saw this last time, I realized that it wasn't that she didn't love her family. She was a young girl with a glimpse of another world and wanted to explore it the same way I've explored city life. And when I heard that song "Part of Their World" this time I got goosebumps actually (especially by the time she gets to the "stay all day in the sun" part), such a beautiful, heartfelt song
. And I got it that time the way I didn't back then and saw that it was much a parallel to me coming to the city life.

Shrek was awesome
and I love Pacha so much.
Oh, Joe, that was some wonderful post there ![]()
