yes, especially Death Angel, having 3 of their albums

I am not very familiar with Testament though.

Any song you would recommend from them?

I think I have one album on my hd, which would be the latest one...

Do you know&like Hades or Heathen?

Practice What Your Preach was probably Testament's most popular album. It had a ton of airplay on Headbanger's Ball years ago. But I think their best was The Legacy. And I have everything Death Angel has done. I used to date the singer

They do not disappoint despite being in their 40's. Mark still has a great voice

I also like metal but some times.I mainly like Iron Maiden because their songs are not too hard like others and i can understand the lyrics of their songs.

But Lamb of God is beyond my resist.

which is not so bad, considering next year the band itself turns 30

Seems like with my interest in gothic/symphonic/progressive and some power ballads I'm one of the few here in this thread

you never know, this part of the forum is very quiet anyway, so maybe there are few others out there who just don't show up

I think the majority of people on this forum aren't really into metal or even rock for that matter. So we are an elite group of people!

Combining metal with fashion is like combining vanilla ice-cream with expired carpaccio, but it doesn't hurt to try ...

I like Meshuggah and Opeth a lot. Not quite sure where all they fit.

I used to be into it more when I was growing up. Listened to Emperor, Suffocation, and a bunch of other stuff. Been a while though. Good times though.

It's not about fitting perfectly into a genre any more - just many metalheads I met seem to favour a certain style and mostly not everything - this way I got the idea of starting a topic about metal.

This topic should turn into what you like in metal, which bands, when, where, how and all that stuff... more or less

I highly recommend "Lemmy", the doc they did on Lemmy from Motorhead. Loved it
