but it would be a great loss, considering that she is one of the few nowadays singers that can actually sing, lol.
Yes and no - she underwent surgery to fix a hemorrhaged vocal chord but she's on the mend now and expected to make a full recovery.

Yes, she was sidelined for a while, and the Grammy award show is supposed to be her 'big comeback' since having vocal cord surgery. I'm sure that she's followed the orders of the health care team and her voice is back top notch. It would be a damn shame if she had to retire so young, her voice is just phenominal.
And, I love the fact she is 'just an average girl."
