If the entire thread was merged, the point of referrence must be in there somewhere. Even if not, as long as its on topic and not in violation of the rules, its not a delete worthy offense.

Many of the models inquired of have been identified before as most members haven't looked through that entire forum. As long as it is on topic, a member has a right to make the inquiry no matter how many times the model has been identified in previous threads. If anyone knows who it is, they have the right to either ignore them or tell them in that thread. Thank you for your efforts, but in general, the deleting of posts are for violations of the rules, empty posts and double posts. A member however has a wider range of choices of their own (preferrably unanswered) posts that they want to have deleted. Making a habit of deleting posts because someone later edited a previous post, because it doesn't seem relevant or useful ect. both upsets the balance of the forum and infringes on every member's right to free speech as well. ~ Post Edited by Joe > Average
