a friend of mine wants to register on BZ but : "the administrator doesnt return the confirming email" occures .what is wrong?

Just curious about something....Why is the little person icon that's next to user names sometimes in color, but most of the time it's b+w? Kind of a weird question, I know, but it's been bugging me :blueeyedbaby:
If a member is online the icon would light up. If a member is either offline or anonymous then it is "black & white"

Is there a way to block certain members that get on my nerves?
Go to My Controls in your profile listings up above in the upper right part of the forum. Then select and go down to the options section, select Manage Ignored Users. Add the members who you want to put on the list and hit the update list button/tab.
It's not possible to block all evidence of a member's existence, but you can block the content of their posts. If you should stumble upon a post by someone you've blocked, you'll be given the option of clicking a link to see said content, which looks a little something like this...

Pretty, I myself have not seen any of this first hand. Is she permanently banned or is this a temp ban?
I'm not sure so please don't quote me on this, but I believe it's a permanent ban, and it's amazing what people don't see on this forum lol

I was just on her thread talking about Disney world yesterday and 'poof' it's all gone.
Well, I think..in time, a lot of people will ask, because she was a very prolific poster.

I bid this issue adieu then, as this is the weird, dark underbelly of BZ that I never wanted to see

There was a thread about a popular member being banned once. I don't care to make that a trend, so I'll simply say multiple accounts, harassing several members not previously known to report such issues and total disregard for several general rules. Its worth mentioning as well that no member has ever been given as many chances for the same infractions. Hopefully her friends can contract her through other means .
*edit* Well, they did make a thread about it, so further comments should be posted here then.
what can I do to not receive the weekly emails anymore?? 150 to 300 mails every Sunday from BZ is starting to slightly drive me NUTS!!!!!!!!
