Was trying to merge threads and for some reason got moved. Should be back now  

just in the past couple days i have noticed thumbnails of the models beside their names in the forum and i am wondering if that is something that can be toggled on/off as i find it a bit distracting.

@maddog107 there might be a small glitch in the new update. We cannot reposition cover photos on profile page

sorry never really used the feature before. So if you upload a cover you were able to "move" it?

Nevermind found it. I have sent over the bug report to the devs, I will let you know what they find.

This is still a bit of a work in progress at the moment. Going forward, we should be able to swap the current preview pics (which are being randomly assigned) out for more carefully selected ones.

I'm not sure if there's been a hack of some sort on the site, but I've noticed something a little suspicious.

To speed access to certain parts of the site, I've got direct links to them set up from a local homepage on my computer. This takes me to the first page in the thread in question, from where I then skip to the last page if I see in the post count that there's been new posts.

One of the threads I have this set up for is the Mischa Barton thread, and I've noticed a suspicious change there. Up until now, the first post on the first page has been a biography of her. But that has now disappeared, and been replaced by a short spammy-type post about "waiting for the meds to kick in". There's also a few other suspicious posts on that first page, which I'm sure were not there before.

This makes me think there's some sort of a problem with the site, which looks a lot like someone has hacked it and replaced some of the posts. Am I right in my suspicions, and has anyone else noticed anything similar in other threads?

@lather Yes the first page of the thread seems rather strange, though it seems like it is some glitch or a merging error among deleted posts and threads and the thread has been around since 2005, and some of the older threads tend to have some strange looking first pages. Looks like the rest of the thread is A-OK though. 

Let us know if you notice any other thread doing the same!

The thread has been OK until now, but has just suddenly changed - It was fine a couple of days ago, but has now gone weird.

Not noticed it elsewhere, but will let you know if I do.

Could be an odd glitch, like I said some of the really old threads tend to get that way in the early posts, or like like I said a merging of posts or comments that should have been moved or deleted. 

But please let us know if you see anything else!

EDIT: Noticed the same in other threads. I'll take a look!

Actually we are rebuilding posts and I saw something similar on a different thread. I am investigating. Thanks for letting me know its happening elsewhere. 

@katchitup im investigating, ill let you know.

Everyone, we restored the database due to some corruption and have tried to merge the old and the new DB's so we wouldnt lose too many posts. Hopefully it doesnt show too much strange behavior as this was a hack that I did and is not "officially supported". 

@lather @katchitup can you please check now? Thanks. 

Is the database still being updated or is it all set? Just want to know if I need to replace any of my posts since Wednesday

I merged all the posts from the backup (yesterday morning PST) to today when I shut the site down. Do you see missing things? Please link me to the thread to investigate. One issue is the index of the topic is incorrect when the last post date is. But when someone replies to it then it gets updated.
