yup, got the alert but was traveling all day so didnt get a chance to fix it until now. 

Also I did an upgrade on the software that is suppose to help with this issue. So lets hope for the best.

When you add a member in your ignore list and choose to ignore messages, you still get a notification every time he PMs and you still can read the message if you mouse over the messages icon in the top of the page. On top of that you still get an email notification with the message in the address used to register your BZ account (which you can't ignore because you have an email address for a purpose). In your PM box you'll get  a " You've chosen to ignore content by ignored membername" message as many times as the number of PMs you got from that member after adding him to your igrore list ......... to make a long story short ignoring doesn't really work

Can confirm, they stopped working after New Year's, but are good now.
