Everything's back to normal, thanks @maddog107. What was the issue? I tried investigating the error code, but got nothing concrete.

No idea, the "caching" table was getting rows inserted with 0 instead of the expected json arrays, I tried to find the root cause but after changing a bunch of php nothing was working, so I just created a table rule saying you cannot insert a row with 0, and problem is fixed :D

Im sure somewhere there is a log with a million error messages in it, but I can deal with it later, just needed to get it back up.

Thanks for letting me know, I am writing a bunch of scripts to delete duplicates (800k exact image dupes ~750gb). Thought I got the logic right but I guess I messed it up somewhere. Looking into it!

@maddog107 I feel awkward that I’ve been posting about problems so much these last few days, but there's one more.

A problem has recently appeared with the search engine, for example:

You definitely shouldn’t feel awkward about it, it’s important that the staff is aware of any issues.

With that being said, it looks like the search is indeed broken and recent activity has been wiped.
