I was fine until you said no to Klaroline. I can't wait for them to make baby vampires (okay no, they can't make babies but you get the point). I just want Elena to get bitch-slapped and go back to normal, i do hope Rebbekah gets to drink the freaking cure, then have Klaus or someone else making her a vampire again, that'd be fun to watch. I do agree that the whole cure plot is stupid, not because of the cure itself because i think the whole Sylas/Shane plot is fucking non-sense & then Bonnie, is she really that freaking retarded?! Ugh hell no. Someone please kill Sylas already?

I also ship Stefan & Rebbekah to no ends, he really needs to leave Elena alone with Damon & move on from her.

BTW are you going to be watching 'The Originals'? I hope it's gooood! I've been dying to know what the hell was Klaus doing pre-Mystic Falls

(Sorry to take forever to respond. I wanted to make sure my response was ~perfect~. )

I tend to forget how much of a minority I am when I say that I dislike Klaroline. But, no, I like REALLY dislike Klaroline. Like, REALLY REALLY. In fact, I dislike them to such an extent that I developed my own plot line that I'm working into a very long fanfic involving Klaus and this totally ~awesome~ female character that I just ship the two of them together so much it actually hurts because it's all in my head and I just want to throw my television out of the window sometimes because it will never happen on the real show and I JUST CAN'T HANDLE IT I SWEAR THEY WOULD BE SO PERFECT IF SHE WAS A REAL CHARACTER AND IT WAS ACTUALLY ON THE SHOW AND I EVEN CHANGED IT AROUND SO THAT IT WOULD FIT INTO THE PLOT FOR THE ORIGINALS AND I JUST WANNA CRY BECAUSE I'M NOT WRITING THIS SHOW WHEN I OBVIOUSLY SHOULD BE I OBVIOUSLY SHOULD BE ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Anyway, yeah, after I'm all done with my ~flawless~ fic I'm going to send it to the show writers with a little post-it note that just reads "how does it feel?" and somewhere in my own little secluded corner I'll have an overwhelming sense of self-gratification no I don't think you guys realize this is what I do in my free time this is why I need BZ to keep me sane.

But, anyway, back to my dislike of Klaroline, it's actually really sort of strange because Caroline has probably developed into my favorite female character on the show (ugh, I couldn't stand her in the beginning but she's probably one of the few characters on TVD that I can say A+ character development about) and Klaus is just my baby like I love him and don't know why I'll get into more about him later but whatever like when you put the two of them together I'm just like ?????? PLEASE MY GAG REFLEX IS ACTING UP They just don't make any sense!!! I can assure you that they only reason they are even a ship in the first place is because, lets be real here, this show is targeted at the """adolescent-to-young-adult-female""" demographic and couples are the basic root of appeal to this demographic like cmon most teenage girls girl bazurk over a pretty guy and pretty girl making googly eyes at each other so anyway when they promoted Klaus to series regular they couldn't just let him be single because then teenage girls MALE CHARACTER ??? SINGLE ??? CANNOT BE PRETTY MALE MUST ALWAYS BE ATTRACTED TO PRETTY FEMALE MAKE NO SENSE WHEN MALE WITH NOBODY EVERYBODY WITH EVERYBODY EVERRRRRRRR but anyway they couldn't have paired him with Elena because let be real girls already shit themselves over Delena and Stelena and all that nobody would've bought that Klelena crap and they couldn't have paired him with Bonnie because like they both have that "alpha male" thing going on and Bonnie's character is pretty adamant and unwavering I highly doubt that would've ever happened no matter how much they tried but Caroline ??? Caroline is the PERFECT match she's forgiving enough to see the ~good~ in Klaus and she bring out his good side and he brings out her bad side and UGH DOESN'T IT JUST WORK SO WELL ??????

NO NO NO NO IT DOESN'T Ok so let me just say that I find it quite annoying in the first place that Caroline has been with like every single male character on the show because like I definitely see Caroline as like "strong-independent-black-woman-who-don't-need-no-man" and it's just annoying like oooOoOoh she has feelings for Matt and Tyler and Stefan and Klaus and this and that and JESUS CHRIST SHE'S A GROWN WOMAN SHE CAN MAKE DECISIONS FOR HERSELF AND I HIGHLY DOUBT IN ANY SORT OF REALISTIC SITUATION WOULD SHE BE STUCK IN THIS DILEMMA

And then omg it's time I'm going to go on my Klaus rant THEY RUINED HIMMMMMM MY BABY WITH SO MUCH POTENTIAL WHYYYYYYY ok so let's take two seconds to talk about Klaus he's like 900 something or other years old, he's on of the oldest vampires in the world, the only ~pure~ hybrid, which all this kind of makes him some scary shit but let's also be real something that I never really thought they played up enough HE'S A BASTARD and he also clearly suffers from some serious Oedipus complex (ok I know nobody really believes Freud's stuff anymore but it still works on TV) and like you know how like old people just get like really bitter like I swear my grandparents are some of the angriest, most racist people granted they're also like Really Italian but back to my point KLAUS IS 900 IMAGINE HOW BITTER SOMEONE WOULD BE AFTER 900 YEARS like I only realized this while I was writing my fic and whatever and I really examined his character and I was like wait this is nothing what I would expect Klaus to be like ????? KLAUS SHOULD LITERALLY BE THE BIGGEST SON OF A BITCH WHO DON'T GIVE A CRAP ABOUT ANYTHING LIKE I LITERALLY SEE HIM AS THIS ANGRY BITCH WHO LIKE JUST GETS DRUNK ALL THE TIME AND THEN GETS PISSED AT SOME BITCH THREATENS TO RIP THEIR HEART OUT AND SHOVE IT UP THEIR ASS UNTIL IT COMES OUT THEIR THROAT AT WHICH POINT THAT BITCH IT SHITTING THEIR PANTS AND THEN JUST LIKE "nahh son this is mad work i'm going home out peasants y'all ain't worth my time i'm too fabbbb (◡‿◡✿)" AND LIKE THATS IT THATS THE TRUE KLAUS PREACH

EVERY NIGHT I PRAY TO THE GODS THAT THE ORIGINALS WILL GIVE HIM SOME BETTER CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT AND THEN EVERY NIGHT I CRY WHEN I REALIZE THAT'S NEVER GOING TO HAPPEN OR AT LEAST NOT UNTIL I WRITE THIS SHOW MHMMM JA FELL?? BUT IM STILL WATCHING BECAUSE JOSEPH MORGAN'S FACE CAN WE JUST (◕‿◕✿) （*＾ワ＾*）

I like Klaroline because they work together, they're not the typical couple where he's a bastard who wants salvation and she's a fucking saint who wants to save him (i.e Elena & Stefan, i hate them together to guts), Caroline LIKES that Klaus is a son of a bitch even if she says she doesn't, she likes the fact that he's the bad guy and will do whatever the hell he wants. And to be honest it doesn't matter how old he is, he still has his human side as much as he wants to hide it. Plus Caroline herself, she's not a saint, she's done bad shit too so I think she doesn't judge Klaus for what he's done, she judged the reasons why he has done those things. So i like them, i hope they get together. And also i hate Tyler so I hope he just dies soon enough

And Matt is single, Jeremy was single, Alaric was single so they don't pair everyone. Is just that Klaroine works, it's a believable couple like Damon & Elena are.

I agree about Caroline being the best female character, I love her & Rebbekah to no ends because i think they are realistic characters who you can relate to, like I get why they do the things they do, they are more humans that all the other idiots. I don't like Elena (I hate the kind of characters that are like amazingly good, like seriously dude? Are you the freaking Virgin Mary or what?!) and i truly hate Bonnie, I've been hoping she goes MIA like since the first season.

MissLima: Give me time to rewatch the episode I promise I will write you a full blown novel as to why I was disappointed with the pilot and why I'm seriously not excited for this season. To give you a quick synopsis, I found the episode and concept and direction to just be disappointing as a whole, and this is coming from someone who as been vouching for an Originals spin-off since long before I even knew they were making one. I think that the family has so much potential to really develop deep and compelling character arcs and I feel like we really haven't explored nearly enough into each of their characters as we could, however, the show is just going to bugger all of that off of a building in favor of that ridiculous demon baby thing and to foster their precious Klaroline, despite the fact that they're now states away. Like I said, I feel like the show has a lot of potential to be really great in one direction, but the showrunners (For some stupid, CW reason) decided to take it in the complete opposite direction. And that's why I found it disappointing.

(Damn eveytime I write about this I'm just like 'Damn, Jude, you is so good, like you know this shit better than anybody, you should be writing this shit, not them, mhmmmmm.' And I wonder where my exaggerated sense of false-confidence comes from. )

Even though I know all of about maybe 3 Jewish people that live by me; it's just basically a "New York" thing to get the Jewish holidays off and, hey, 2 days off? I'm not complaining!  

Where's the cottage? On like a lake or something? I've had my fair share of bad experiences with "the great outdoors" but I know scores of people who love the whole camping and hiking and nature experiences, so I try not to judge (even though I really don't see the appeal in living amongst trees without electricity or running water for extended periods of times, but, hey, different strokes for different folks, right?). What do you guys typically do while you're there?

Thanks for the suggestion, but I think I'll have to do some Sherlock Holmes work of my own before I can find my match. What can I say? I'm picky!

Speaking of Avatar, did you watch Korra? I started to (I think I got through the first 2 or 3 episodes) but then got sidetracked by other shows and work and this and that and the other excuses I've always used and never got around to finishing it, but all my friends rave about it! From what I can tell from things I've see online about it, the aesthetic of Korra is a bit different from ATLA, but for the most part, the general themes and premise is still there. I'm kind of just praying that Netflix adds the complete first season for instant streaming so I can waste a good weekend or so just catching up before the new season starts, but I'm pretty sure the new season is starting up soon, so I doubt that's gonna happen.
