I have been stabbed in the back too many times by women. Men aren't usually that way

exactly. On a lighter note, what do you usually do on "you weekends"? How do you spend your free time?

During the week when the kids are at school, I usually spend time with my younger daughter. I love to cook and now that is cooler outside I spend some time outside.

Weekends are usually my quiet time since the kids are at their grandparents. That's when I can read, watch TV and eat what I want and shop. My husband works on our house almost every day so he's gone all day.

He works on your house - you mean not on the house you´re living in?

I love to cook as well what do you like to cook the most? And what kind of books do you read?

He works on the house we are moving into next year. It was built in 1917 so it needs a lot of work. We need more room with 2 more kids coming.

I'll make anything. I love baking for the kids but I love making different pasta dishes. Pasta is my favorite. And fried chicken at the moment.

Right now I'm reading A Painted House by John Grisham. Usually I read true crime, biographies or history. I love Harry Potter of course

*chiming in here* Who doesn't? Only those who haven't read the books yet, to be sure! I didn't want to read them at first, because of the hype and everything, but ever since I did I loooooove them! Which one is your favorite?

Grisham is very good. love his stuff.

My fave though is the Robert Parker novels, especially the Spencer novels.

Exactly! At first I was like - no, I´m not gonna read such books... but then, I read one, and got absolutely hooked on. Amazing books, amazingly written characters and great story lines they are full of love without being overly romantic, full of friendship without being too kiddy and full of adventure and life itself. I love every bit of it.

Tell me about old houses. The cottage we´re reconstructing was built about 120 years ago, so there´s a hell lot of work to do too. He is doing everything by himself? Such a handy man!

Fried chicken, yes! I love that one. I enjoy cooking and experimenting with food especially with meat. I don´t bake - because I have no one to eat such food but maybe when kids will be there, who knows.

What kind of literature does Josh Grisham write? And which era in history do you like the most reading about? Cult Icon likes similar books like you - biographies and history books I´m more into fantasy and science fiction, especially Terry Pratchett and Peter S. Beagle, and also psychology books - and many more, lol. I just love reading.

I was the same way. I didn't start reading them until I was pregnant 5 years ago. Once I started I couldn't stop.

My favorite one is probably the Half Blood Prince. I was a Snape fan and that book went into his past more and we got to know him a little more.

There is no way he could do all that alone. He isn't that much of a handy man! He does have a construction crew but he does the blueprints.

Grisham is mainly fiction. I don't read much fiction but he is a good writer.

I like early American history. And ancient Egyptian history and the Roman Empire.

Lockey doesn't seem like the type to give up though on projects like these and I'm sure when it gets done it will make it all worth it.
