Emily D is most attractive in person; her modeling is obnoxious, imho.

What do you mean by that? contemplate.gif

New Faces: Sasha Luss (a new top model, now platinum blonde)

New models: Gintare Sudziute (but tiny body of work, unfortunately)

Sasha has got quite a unique and wide face, similar to Magdalena and Carola Remer, but sort of mixed with the baby face of Barbara Palvin.

Gintare looks very young, but beyond her years.. she looks like she could be interesting. Any idea how to say her name?

^ By the looks of your avi it's no so much hypnotizing as it is Marloes doing the Funky Chicken I think Although Elsa is stealing her spotlight somewhat with her muscle-beach flex moves Oh my are those 2 such a great duo! *thinks Funky Chicken once again*

Darn well here at the moment. Nice long 4th of July holiday weekend here so making the best of it where I can Spent the 4th celebrating our Independence Day of course with enough food to feed a small army. After that we had some volleyball in the pool which was interesting to say the least. Then of course came the fireworks show along with drinking to end that night Oh, and headed to a casino last night vs the beach but maybe the beach would of been a better outlet since I came back with deep empty pockets

Emily's modeling just doesn't work for me.  It's not convincing, and I find her emotional expressions to be pretty repetitive and narrow in range.  Then, there's the unnecessarily heavy makeup, which reminiscent of the style that opera singers wear....

Sasha reminds me of Ginta Lapina due to her hair and skin.  I don't know how to pronounce Gintare's name.

BTW, very good subject for set...I still remember that video!  Marloes, Ginta, and Elsa were probably the best pink girls.

What I would give to watch her reenact the entire 'evolution of dance'.. in lingerie

Sounds like a fine weekend :Dinah:

Surely that's not her fault though.. especially when she's modelling makeup contemplate.gif

I think she's got one of the most exquisitely (and naturally) beautiful faces. Her features, particularly eyes and lips, are stunning - and it makes sense to me that they're often used as a canvas to showcase makeup.

qgCx2XF.gif <-- How much does she pop!

Obnoxious seems a strange word to describe her modelling, but I take your point. I agree she's not particularly expressive nor varied in much of her work. Her poses come off rather awkward at times too.

Emily gets thick makeup in almost every shoot....

There's another cultural thing that I didn't mention; Every time I see her I think of her as an American upper middle class girl from Long Island NY or Northern NJ, probably half Italian and half something else.  This is not super glamorous to me........somehow I think of loud and friendly Italian moms and dads and so forth when I see her as well..

...So when I see her play faces as some sort of elite, highly cultured and desirable northern Italian woman I keep on thinking that she's acting as someone else.  This is why I like her 'blurry twitter' junk better, as she appears more as she is.

As far as her face goes, it's a good canvas as you say, but I think it's a canvas that...never really moves..!  contemplate.gif

This is very pleasing to me, btw:

Here's a bunch of different shoots where she doesn't have particularly excessive makeup - not sure if you'd count any of these? <_<

Interesting about the cultural reaction.. can't say I've ever imbued her (or anyone) with such things before.

This is very pleasing to me, btw:

She is just a one-stop-shop for all my fantasies

What's your game at the casino?

Maybe someone should submit the idea to Marloes I need more Funky Chicken from that women at once!

Well I'm a Blackjack type of guy for the most part or 3 Card Poker. I seldom use slots as I have NO control over the house odds so card games are usually my route. But of course that doesn't mean I'm not tempted into sticking a dollar or two into those infernal machines

You ever step into a casino for some gambling sir and if so what do you usually play?

The third one is the best one, but the rest I don't really like.  It's just her facial and emotional expressions that are conveyed here..seemed too forced.   Not natural.

That's just my 'hunch'.   Some however, are convinced and love it of course...and that's fine.

With Emily it's mostly due to the fact that I recognize her type on the spot.  Her looks and her background are too familiar to me.   The 'magic' is lost immediately.

You haven't?  How do you think of Australian girls?  Stereotypes, etc.? eg. Natasha Barnard (besides being super hot), Aurelia Gliwski, Abbey Lee Kershaw,  and Jessica Hart?  I love many Russian models, but I'm sure that Russian people would have some cultural knowledge about what Anne V, Vlada, Natasha Poly, Valentina,  etc. really are so they'd see them differently.

BTW, I found a new favorite recently:  Myf Shephard <3  I am also in the process of compiling Vlada Roslyakova.

I checked out some of 'The Last of us' on youtube (there's full cutscenes and intro uploaded).  It's emotional and exceptionally well done, but the story/environment is utterly depressing (excessive violence, nonstop misery, filth, and wretchedness) and difficult to watch.  I'm impressed, and the story is full length film quality.  It's worth checking out just to see what they accomplished.  I also browsed through the artbook at a bookstore this weekend and it looks to me that the conceptual drawings are done by many of the same artists that worked for Bioshock Infinite:

By the way http://www.mc2mm.com/tel-aviv/women/ewelina-olczak  (the woman you posted in SS' thread is gorgeous)  Her body and her bust are 10/10.  Perfecto..

Unfortunately, her modeling has been very sparse and mixed:  This is how she looks:

No kidding, the combination of those legs, that chest and that waist, the girl won the nature lottery three times over.

I'd say four times- She has an attractive face too.  But not one that stands out by elite model standards.  I suspect that this and her big bust has limited her opportunities.

I hope to see more from her.
