A woman gave an orchid to a friend of mine and that woman owned this orchid since 30 years !! The flowers are blooming twice a year.

For that money you can buy two large but lower quality pots in the countryside (Eg. Pennsylvania). Of course they're very different things than orchids that are carefully picked by a florist.
It sounds like a good indoor plant. It's good that they survive that long. Do you plan on combining some of them into a larger pot? Do you like Bonsai trees? Any other flowers you want?
They are very expensive over here to the point (hundreds of dollars to thousands) and without experience I would be afraid that I mess up their caretaking.
